It does not matter. Use yearly, monthly, weekly pivots combined with a MTF stochastic oscillator. Std pivots are fine. You have to know which way you are going with a currency pair based on across the board strength or weakness of a currency and then look at what the price is doing at pivot.

Your attempt at being witty and funny is very cringe worthy. I mean I can see you trying but it's just not coming off as clever but that's not the point. This is based on theoretical logic though at least from my standpoint as I am still testing the viability of this system but my logic is actually based on modern times and technology. Your logic is based on an antiquated way of trading. I'm assuming you're really old. Any way just my 2 cents. Bye Grandpa.

Averaged price levels are very good for determining the width of the ranges .when they converge to one point or pivot ...bingo

If you trade pivots strictly going countertrend and using them as reversals yes you are correct you will win about 50%. but if you use them as targets with trend yoir talking around 80% or better. let me know of you want the videos i made that explains all of this with great detail, trade examples and live trades. i even explain the logic of what the markets really are. let me know buddy. Actually, any formula to determine the pivot would be the shit! You can apply it to any chart and you will see some coincidences, but these coincidences are not formed by the reaction of the prices of these Pivot levels, price levels simply because of the formula use the pivot levels were the same levels ! Fibonacci is considered to be the same shit! Just a happy coincidence. GL

what coincidences? I am assuming you mean price coincidently bouncing off the pivots. this is debatable because coincidences can happen in the markets at times and at times it may not be a coincidence and price may have reacted to the pivot.there is no way of knowing. however this is irrelevant because this is now how pivots should be used. the pivot point should be used as a sentiment and trend confirmation among other trend confirmations and a trade should be placed in the direction of the trend anf take profit targets should be the r1r2/s1s2 levels. exhaustion from the previous week should also be measured and factored in to the trade decision. this is how you trade with pivots. you should not use them as bounces or reversal points. i have a video explaining this. let me know if your interested. i love you bye lol

I don't think they can be a good chance to talk about the direction of the trend at any period of time.At least in my experience I don't naschel useful. I mean, coincidences are always under water with him. That’s true. All indicators are just ways to screen the markets well. At the end its all about where you place your money and how you handle it against the risks spread in the market.
