I know it’s short notice, but would you please come to Sunderland tomorrow to march with Chelsey Wright?

We’re meeting in Sunderland, at The Charltons pub, at 14 Hendon Road, at 11 a.m. At 1 p.m. we’ll walk solemnly through the streets of the city, and end at the police station. That’s where Chelsey and I will deliver the petition you signed.

Nearly 50,000 people have signed that petition, demanding Police Commissioner Vera Baird personally oversee a full investigation into the horrific crimes committed against Chelsey at the hands of a Muslim rape gang.

Despite having DNA evidence, and an independent eye-witness, despite detaining half a dozen men, the police have refused to lay charges. That’s unacceptable.

There is an epidemic of these cases across the UK. But many are swept under the carpet by the police, politicians and the media.

Our march has the same message as our petition: we’re not going to let Chelsey, and thousands of women and girls like her, be forgotten.

I hope to see you tomorrow at 11 a.m. — the march starts at 1 p.m.

Unfortunately there is no Easyjet nor other convenient flight to Sunderland ... which leaves you with a 240-mile drive (from Luton) ... each way

Wondering why. What is the bigger picture? What do you think of this?

Edit: The belief that the police, politicians and media do nothing is because they don't want to offend, doesn't sit comfortably with me. Sure, that is the design and they are the puppets. So, what is the truth? I believe the truth is entirely ruthless and the PC veneer is a convenient sell for the masses.

Question for others, do you consider Russia a police state, or China?

How do you rate those two countries by comparison to say the UK or the USA?

Well ... I have not been to Russia, but they are the only country that I know of who have chased their defectors and had them killed.
...with the possible exception of the North Koreans who appear to have recently 'off'd one of their senior officials in the Kuala Lumpur airport.

I have visited China in 2009 for a little more than a week. There was no evidence that the people were oppressed. There is a definite 'do not criticise the authorities' mentality. The BBC is regularly banned (temporarily) for making critical observation of events, but for the people free enterprise seemed to be operating.

The current ruling regime got into power because the previous players failed to address the starvation occurring in parts of their country, actually that is an assumption on my part. Say what you like about the one-child policy, it was a hard choice between control and total death (because eventually the starved eat everything and then there is nothing left at all). They achieved this population control by convincing their community that it was necessary, which it was, and thus the majority of people survived. It has created other demographic problems which are a different challenge, however the one-child policy has now been relaxed to a two-child policy.

I first became aware of the obstructive practices in the US when protesters were corralled into a 'protest area' so that the placard wavers would not be visible to cameras covering the parade of George D Bush through Dallas (or somewhere). So much for free speech.
