I'm not looking for a holy grail, but for something really simple with 50% accuracy at 1:2 ratio. 3-5 trades per day during EU session and that's all. I tried to trade H1-H4 pullbacks, pivots, breakouts and many other strategies but without any success... Should I continue my searches or it's time to leave it?

Took me 10 years... Probably I am a slow learner though.

Well I guess trading is not just about learning, everyone can learn trading in a matter of weeks, but its all about doing the right thing all the time, because there is no room for mistakes in trading, almost all traders just cannot do it right most of the time, why? its because of psychological instability, most traders especially newbies self sabotage their trading somewhere along the way.A trader can talk all the technical stuff that he knows but unfortunately trading is not just about knowing it is more about doing the right thing all the time.....

That's a problem. Tokyo close / London open sets up the flavor for the day.

US is reserve currency so NY session takes seniority in the heirarchy. Which means you need to watch London open for first signs of... changes. For the precise reason you just described; most Americans are sleeping. (There's your golden goose)

VEEFX, you do not need to prove anything to anyone. I wasn't knocking you in the slightest, in fact I admire an approach for which I will never have the capacity! There is more than 1 way to skin a cat, as i have said before. If your style suits you and is achieving your goals, laugh at the world and enjoy....

The more perplexing part is that I said 'changes'. Please, explain what changes you think you are identifying on that chart with the funny blue boxes?

TE can show FOREX performance. I think if you have great profit factor that proves you can trade.

i shall show you how to trade? i trade on the limit of the market volume at the moment when i go in or out the market, so its enough when brokers know it, i dont need any other to reduces my winning chances and i dont want to change the ways only because proof something that not nescessary (you really will learn it sometimes). by the way, you use this small brokers that can be used with TE? really? then you cant hold many millions in it, because most dont accept custodian services. maybe its really best we speak next time when you got more experience, at the moment its like i tell you basics you cant accept/understand because you never heard about basics of trading (you was teached by very simple unexperienced teachers by the way, looks they missed to tell you at least basics!, so dont tell all the time this was good people with market knowledge, its impossible that this was the case if you always write such textes with bigger mistakes!).

This is great.. and my favorite book author - as I trade based on EWT.. another good quote from a famous trader - or at least I think attributed to him (Bill Williams - awesome oscillator and fractal theory guy) is - "The holy grail of trading -- want what the market wants."

If you are going to stick with this game - you really you need to trade opportunities.
At the moment you are trading thinking its 9-5. The risk/reward is not worth it
The best opportunities come from the news and certain economic releases- look at the US CPI figures on Friday
Is there an easier trade in the whole world
Or you could just give the money to a copier.

Good luck with whatever route you choose

Jesus Loving Christ!!!! This is my discovery: A lot of forex traders have serious mental issues and thank goodness for forex keeping them busy or else they would have been vicious psychopaths secondly, if I had a strategy churning out millions I won't post a damn proof on a forum you best believe that.

Trading runs contrary to human nature.Last week I was right only 20% of the time and I hardly lost money.I risk 5% per trade and closed the week with -3%, and I was right only 20% of the time, one of my worst weeks. I guess it's hard for traders to forget about their win ratio, or to keep going when everything seems not to be working.

Huh? My broker will happily let me have a $2 million account
and i was taught by a quant who is the consultant to the biggest banks in the world. None of what you say makes any sense. You said volume was a joke yet now you saying you trade it. First smart thing youve ever stated though.
If you have ALL this volume to get into the market? Why not iceberg then?
