No, I don't know how to do short trades only. I was wondering about that for the past two days, DB_CSMFORCE only opens Short trades. I am not complaining because it earned almost $100 for the past two days. Can anyone spot something wrong about my setup?

Here is the screen shoot of my .set file. Can someone help me to configure to open Long trades as well as Short trades? Thanks a lot.

Maybe my understanding of reverse trade is not what I thought it should be. I thought reverse trade would means if a trade is going south and closed due to SL, then it would open another trade in reverse direction? This is where I need GVC to explain how to use all the input prams to be most effective using this DB. Is it normal that DB only short trades?

Oh i see _ I am using another dashboard and this function it is the same ..
[R] Rev trade means that all the trades will be reversed ex: if GbpJpy is long according to signals in DB_CsmForce
then it will taken as a short ... Gvc explanation however should better help us all to understand_
I am actually interested in what you like to do "reversing a trade that is losing"_
I think i will start studying this Dashboard a bit more sounds very interesting work from GVC

Oh, OK, Thanks. If is possible, Can GVC put all Dashboards in post 1? It would be easier to find and know which one is which. I am new to this forex, it's hard for me to know how to run these DB. I am trying to catch up by reading from page 1 and I am on page 128 still 800 more pages to go. Haha.

HI, I know it is a bit hard in the beginning finding which and where
but i think developers are so busy improving stuff that time is never enough to sort out things_
But once you get used to it , you shall be fine ...
See if i can find some of my notes with links
It is best to have a nice Excel or Word sheet and place links to find it faster
Also you might want to use the Attachment link on Top Right panel on the Thread to see them all listed in order
and without having to go page by page _
Or type on GVC link and see all he has posted ... Search goes as far as 2/3 months i think __

i.e. BR long is recommending at 60 for long, so if I change to 75 would that make it harder to open long or easier for long?
Same for BR recommending gotshort at 30, If I change it to 20, what will happen?

I have just downloaded this Dashboards and began to see things
i got roughly an idea how to make some set ups but i want run the Ea for a week and if i find anything positive
will post settings ....

ST1 Strenght On Current Bar
ST2 Strenght on 2 bars
ST2 Strenght on 4 bars
ST2 Strenght on 7 bars
What is used to determine the strength of those i have no idea , some coders have used Daily-High-Low +/Pips numbers / Adr Ranges and so on ... Dont know if Rsi is there too _
I am still reading and need to have as many info as i can ... so after reading start practicing and test things around

Yes, jenbols. Let's do that for GVC. I am running in Live as well as demo accounts. The live account is gaining close to $100 for the last 2 1/2 days of auto trade with some manual input from me. The demo account is doing horrible lost to almost $2000, can't figure out why. I like another dash, Power Meter V3, I like the RESI filter, so if GVC can add RSI in csmforce that would be perfect for me.

Demo bad and Live Good ? ahah no complain then ...
Brokers might have different Feeds ...

Even with the selection of Reverse trade input ,i think you should have buy trades , perhaps in the common section of the Dashboard you have unwantedly selected the "trade sell only" position.

Really? Where? I have been looking at the input properties and not able to see how it only do short trades? Can you spot it?

I just look at my demo account, there is a Long trade and two Short trades, so I really don't know what's going on now.

Hi GVC or any of the DB developers,

Is it possible that you can PM me or put up a Dashboard with just a skeleton or just a template. I would like to learn how you create the Dashboard.
I don't need to know all your logic for the filters, open, close trades, just enough code to draw the board with all 28 pairs currency. Thanks.
I think I can read C source code, although it has been a while that I coded in C.

After you open EA properties you can see three sections : "about,common,inputs" in the common section you can find the option to select trade sell only, buy only and buy and sell .

Your photo looks right now ... you have no [R] Enabled so it bought the long and sold the shorts
unless of course you have taken the photo after you have removed the R (reverse) ?
Eax Dashboard you can choose if to go long or short only
but i dont think DbForce has been programmed to do this _ unless you opt to change it into the other tab of the Parameters Box of the Expert
They are both powerful and DbCsm Force focuses more on Strenght

Yes, I turned it off before I do a screen capture. I like EAX, DingDong Fibo 3 and TripleGapV6, but withought some good instructions on how to use them, I just can not test them in live account.
