if you have the time have a look at #LabourManifesto it's scary how many people like what Corbyn is selling they don't seem aware how short sighted the policies are

this women have about 30000 followers and think this is a good argument

The question is; at what point will any of the Parties decide that people with a small business renting out properties are exploiting the poor ... and remove their properties?

Is this snap election called by TM really an attempt to support the government's position into Brexit, or is it that the clouds of recession are gathering on the horizon and will be here in full force in a couple of years?

Back in the 80's Harry Enfield had a character called Loadsamoney. Loadsamoney was a plasterer, as working class as you can get, but he embraced Thatcherism, because well, he made loads of money. There was opportunity for everyone: the rich made more and kept more of what they made, so had more to spend on things like houses and employing people like Loadsamoney to do the plastering. The working class had a lot of work available and they were happy too. The only way that works for all is Capitalism: Small state and empowerment to the individual.

What is striking about the Labour funding is what they are going to take from others, not a word about how they would increase the GDP of the country.

£10 per hour will reduce competitiveness just like it did in the USA, forcing manufacturers to outsource production (lost jobs). Increased corporation tax will only encourage existing businesses and prospective investors in the UK, to establish elsewhere in the World (lost jobs). 20% tax on Private Health plans will make them too expensive for many, reducing uptake, increasing demand for the NHS and increase NHS costs. VAT on Private education again will make it too expensive for many to consider, reduce uptake, increase pressure and costs on State education, plus damage the very valuable private sector, not to mention damage the quality of education for the whole country. Increase tax on those earning over 80,000 is going to be a disaster, placing the burden for all these wonderful benefits on those earning 80,00 to 150,000. The really rich people will piss off to another country and pay no tax. Those thinking about setting up their own businesses won't bother, as they would only be taxed to fluck. All this, coupled with State run Utilities & Public transport, greater power for the Unions should about cripple the country, just like it did in the 1970's when we were forced to join the EEC, as we will again under Labour. You add to that a leaders (Corbyn, McClusky, Sturgeon and Farron) who won't protect the country, will make Greece and it's current problems look like paradise.

The resulting loss of businesses, will add to the unemployment levels, increasing social benefits demand, which will be paid for by increasing tax on both individuals and businesses. This will lead to more businesses closing due to punitive taxes and increasing uncompetitiveness, resulting in further increased unemployment and even greater demand for state benefits. This will be paid for by further increasing taxes on individuals and businesses and the cycle continues. It will get to the stage where higher rate tax will be paid for by those earning 20,000 or more. To be fair they will be the only people able to pay tax, everyone else will be on the dole or have flucked off

JC has just said that the manifesto is one where no-one gets left behind .... are they all flucking-off to another country?

BTW I think that with just the right push the £80k-£150k people will leave.

The trouble with any government is how to keep the poor from eating the rich. It has always been this way. I agree that taxing businesses to death is not the way to go, on the other hand, the more people feel disenfranchised, the more they will vote for socialism.
