Little under an hour to go. Forecast is 65.5 billion and if its more or equal to this i thing we'll see the Eur dollar head towards the 1.28's. If its less we're looking at 1.25


Anyone playing this one??

Maybe a better option would be to trade USD/CAD as both are releasing their trade balances - could be more volatility, more movement. If USD release is worse than expected and CAD is better than expected, USD would head south.


Or, go GBP/USD. GBP went up to 1.8750 - showing stength after earlier data release.

Hedging this trade. Can't straddle with FXCM for this one. - 8 pips in EUR/USD (Short). + 25 pips in GBP/USD (long). Bigggg whipsaw

My Long was ok for 15 pips win.
But my Short was still ther for a 10 pip loss

wild reaction here...

i was too busy making sure the server held up to trade

i may fade this spike, cant see why USD would strengthen given the report...

It's funny, AUDUSD didn't so much as flinch on the USD-bearish whipsaw but then went down along with all others as dollar rallied...EUR/USD hit it's trendline and bounced down and sterling...well cable's just always a nightmare since every tim tom and henry are trading it on news....For the record, I was short on cable just before the news but got stopped out by the spike...

Oh and EJ is nearing it's trendline....former R, now S??? Or drop through for quite a lot?

Oh yes. I was trading with Forex.com and I got about a ten pip slipage, then when I get in the trade, guess what, the price is now going the other way and triggered my stop!!! LOL Bad way to start your day. I lost $48 this morning on my mini account, lets just say I"m not too happy.

Hello Guys ..

I've got 30 pips from GBP/USD for the 1st SECOND AND 20 pips from EUR/USD .. i just took them & quit .. Well , i'm a beginner so 50 pips makes me happy ..
but as i see , the pips are COMING MORE in many pairs ..

I HOPE EVERYONE DID WELL ..

By the way .. i got 50 pips in DEMO ACCOUNT .. but i'm still happy ..

I'm learning from each of u guys .. Thanx a lot ..

I will actually be looking a for a small dollar long if the set up is right.

For me it all depends what happens when the price action retests the pre release levels.

LOL, this may be the only timne you hear people complain that they got filled. There was plenty of time to take profit if you wre quick and astute though.
