Who are these market makers who You are talking about? If they place orders big enough to move the market do You really think they care about retail traders?
Quoting Winston Reed
Disliked
Market makers move price intentionally to trap retail traders and they have been using the same or similar tactics for a long time. These can be seen for those willing to look but most are busy searching for the right combination of indicators or a certain set-up so they never figure it out. The chart below is revealing but I doubt most will figure it out. {image}

But, Ming, you're forgetting that during your random stroll things will cross your path. Now, if you know how to avoid the larger obstacles... you'll get where you want to go. It's not so much about deciding where to go so much as avoiding the places you don't want to go when presented with an opportunity to save yourself. {quote} please, these are just the basics. if you don't do volume analysis, you don't need DOM depth of market or VSA. if you don't do technical analysis, then you don't need technical indicators. if you don't do fundamental analysis, then you don't need the news on and a page opened showing Trump's twitter account. kick it back to the old days, all you need is a ticker, that stock tape, and some heart put into the game. but, that really was a great video from depthflow and i enjoyed listening to it quite a bit lol.

Basics.. I will just assume this is sarcasm considering the majority of threads I see on here. Like I said before, if you're not looking at volume, you are at a huge disadvantage. You can not see volume in Forex which puts you at a disadvantage, not to mention you are paying high commissions per lot and a spread.

Here is a good interview of a very intelligent trader. Pay attention to what this guy says at 49:00.

{quote} I expect nothing more and nothing less out here (he is probably working for a scam broker lol) born in 96 and joined FF in 2015. It's unbelievable how many fuckers out here are scamming and hiding behind rebates and promote unregulated brokers out here. One was complaining about US regulation, complaining in every post and then sending PM with a link generating rebate for him. fucking hell. That's why I dont come here any more.

They likely turn their heads and rely on wishful thinking to make the trees go away.

I know I spent months forcing myself to watch as I crashed into trees. Almost every time I told myself 'this is a very bad fuckin idea' before I had enough experience to overcome that gutwrenching feeling. Hope never saved me. Not a single damn time.

Pain is a wonderful teacher.

I wouldn't bank on oil personally. But, I love me that clean energy tech. I figure that the poor can't afford gas and the rich can afford a Tesla... and neither one of those trends look like they're changing.
