Agreed. The bulls certainly looked labored and if you do short at 20660 level, you will definately be getting a great RR. I am still waiting to see what price tells us....

If I trade Dow, I will be looking to SHORT, but I'm going to bed now :-)

Yes. Definately long but don't like the structure to support the entry and the RR sucks at the AOI too.

Anyone took YM? I am still just watching. Rotation was not good to me and currently the bulls don't look very convincingly strong....

not many opportunity's today so far been plenty of movement but no setups ive been happy with on the ym cl ive taken a couple of trades but taken out for a be postion twice now just one of them days i guess till up 3 ticks on cl so better than a losing day i guess

Hi guys!

Could you evaluate the entries i did while backtesting? I would like your opinions on whether i entered the market when i shouldnt, if i should but didnt and if my thinking is correct. This "day" the profit was -4.5. if i didnt took that last trade i couldve been positive...
Until now ive been using eurusd 15m but saw the first live stream of Mr. Pip and realized his tick chart is much faster than that so now im trying a smaller time frame adn because of that i choose the usdjpy pair as it is more volatile.
Talking about livestreams... is Mr. Pip putting the link here on the thread so we can see it?

Hope you can understand the chart and my entry and exit points

Well you should take it from the experts around here and not from me but since they appear to be sleeping at the moment, I'll give it a shot .

I would not have enter the 2nd and 6th trade, why? a retest of the swing had happened.

Yes you were too agressive with the trailing on the 3rd trade, but it seemded you were trading a correction I would have panicked as well, although you did say the long term was expecting a nsh AND there was no structure at the point you trailed not quite great, because that was gonna be THE trade of the day if you had decided to jump on the 2nd candle .

By the time of the 5th trade I would have taken profit at the zone(if I would have entered at all), it was starting to look like a range, which later on the chart you discovered it was indeed ranging.

The 1st and 4th were good, I think you did nothing wrong there.

Thank you for your feedback. learning everyday.. agree with you that an Oscillators are illusions.. however how do I overcome the fact that there is no real volume on a fx pair?

Hi traders,
I have a general question between correlation and how to identify strong vs weak to found best pair to entry, on the example below you will see UJ and EJ both with a NSL expectation, order flow is almost the same, rotation is almost the same so which one will you choose ? trading both could be an idea and to not be over exposed could enter with half size lot on each one.. What you thinking about this ?

Hi sdatta, the previous thread i was following was using volume (pvsra-mt4) it was useful to understand PA and power of volume on S/R for example, but since i learn with Mr.Pip i really did not need this indicator to understand where the volume is with the order flow and bar/bar analysis, you already got what you need on the naked chart and it is less disturbing as well You could also noticed that Mr.Pip and others using NT and trading futures can have access to real tick data but they are not using volume indicator on charts.
I was also using tdi as oscillator and never ever tdi did something else than just following PA so it is a lagging indi at all others, but here with the understanding of structure you could be faster than any indi !
May be just one thing i'm curious about what Mr.Pip is thinking about the information that this kind of indicator could give also : divergence..?

Hi tomazlucena, just my 2 cents remember what Mr.Pip said : "first what kind of trader are you ?" What i noticed in your chart is you clearly expecting a NSH and just bought for all your entries, as i can see on the left of your chart you probably draw the fibo according to the main swing, but all your entries have tight SL which you move really quickly at BE so imho you have to much expectation for your entries with tight stop, even you are probably right according to the main structure.
Look at the circle on your chart it is a NSL on ST order flow but if you enter long you need to place your SL below the structure and don't move it before a re test of the previous NSH as Mr.Pip do. So one more time all is about what kind of trader you are hope this could help you a little.
