That is true. I just read that there are now protests going on in SA against Zuma's corrupt policies. Things look like they are about to spiral out of control there, if they haven't already, pure anarchy is all that is between the current chaos and martial law.

We have a different understanding of the word Anarchy.

To me anarchy is the rule of a tyrant, a dictator who imposes his or her will using every means available to crush opposition and plunder the arena.

I submit that your version is akin to that which appears to exist in places such as Libya or Afghanistan.
The theatre is smaller but each is 'ruled' by a warlord.

I look to the middle east, and remember the former Yugoslavia.

edit: from Wiktionary, this interesting note: "Anarchists feel it is inappropriate to use anarchy to mean “a state of chaos or confusion”. However, this has historically been a common use of the word."

Well, not my intention to one up you my friend, it could be a cultural definition that differs in our perception of the word it self.

How you define it would suggest to me the meaning of "Tyranny" is someone is ruling and laying down the law albeit a tyrannical ruler.

According Oxford's dictionary,

a state of society without government or law. political and social disorder due to the absence of governmental control: The death of the king was followed by a year of anarchy. Synonyms: lawlessness, disruption, turmoil.

Anyway that is how I had to second guess this meaning as to look it up to see further what or how you define it.
