But the FTR is broken now.
May be it will be a loss trade.

This is Daily Chart.
Trending Up, the horizontal line tell us about FTR that has been broken.
Its good to sell but i dunno the setup yet.
Or may be you are right. I dunno.
I just afraid about false break over the last high of last trend.

I remember someone here blamed me for not helping traders. He said he was going to help the traders as much as he want when he is ready . Paradox is traders really cant help traders . because , the losing opponent also traders same like us.

In this zero sum game, we traders eat each others stops to live long. Truth is painful.

If always says to look in from the top.

The last move up on higher time frames did not engulf anything significant, we also have LL. I would be waiting to short this to be honest.

You're not polluting at all!

However, your chart doesn't show us where price is, or what it's done, so it has no chance of telling us what it might do next.

There's always a narrative to price, so keep looking left until you've found it.
Think about what you've been taught elsewhere, and you'll see the market like a retailer. Imagine where you've been taught to put your stops, then see if that place lines up with a juicy level from the past.

There's more to it, of course, but this is a good start!

after reading the thread I'm a bit confused about the engulfing and the fakeout.
Looking to the left on the chart I see that the price engulfed below but the next move up also engulfed the price up.
From what I read on a IF's post at the beginning " If it's an engulf it cant't be a fakeout".

Could anyone please point me out how can I distinguish both?

This is my gold chart in h4. If I am not mistaken buying, unless for a quick scalp can turn sour very quickly. Am I getting close?

I have another question if you do not mind, (anyone also please feel free to chip in) how do we deal with opening gaps on say Index charts like on the DAX?

There's no way to deal with gaps.

They're an absence of information, so we can't know what's within them. They're a gamble

I'm going to come clean. I've been RTM from the beginning (look through my posting history), and I never made any money gambling on forex. The whole thing is a scam which can't be won consistently because the people in charge of money flow communicate with one another and you're out of the loop. Let me give you a little history on RTM and its promises, one deception after another:

1) RTM opens as a price action trading group.
2) RTM opens its own independent website, following Redsword's interpretation by IFMyante.
3) RTM creates "The Ladder". While I felt there were nuggets of gold in the information on the forums and in the marketpedia, it was easy enough to cherrypick examples of when it worked. And when it didn't? It didn't. There were never any proven statements from master or elite traders, if they even existed in the first place and weren't puppets. I advanced to associate trader, and despite being told there was a subforum for associate traders to build off one another, no such forum existed. Probably another warning sign I ignored.
4) RTM creates "The Academy" which charged $10,000 to "accelerate" your learning. Why would a successful trader need to charge such an exorbitant amount? To "keep the secret"? Convenient.
5) RTM never publishes the results of its "fund" as it promised to do multiple times on the original project. Red flag.
6) RTM becomes a closed, pay for everything source, no better than any of the other sites promising to teach you to be rich while making a ton of revenue on exorbitant subscription prices.

The whole gamut was a long game based on slowly growing a cult around it and having reputation build a subscriber base until they knew it was safe to reveal the true intention, which was charge. I'm sure the payoff for such a slow buildup has been extremely profitable.

What a disappointing scam. You should be ashamed of yourself, but in a game of greed, everything is fair I guess and we all find our just lot from this vice.

For everyone reading this...go out and live life. Forex is crap and everybody here saying they make money is doing so temporarily, has bank connections, or is here to posture. Like me. Sorry to disappoint all of you, but after thinking about this for a year I decided that lying to cover up my gambling addiction was wrong and that you should save yourself the pain of it. No doubt I will be banned from this thread following this bombshell post but I hope others will quote it from time to time to remind future victims of what has happened here.
