Hey Stu, I meant to say ... about 4 weeks ago now ... Kelly's Heroes was on Spike (iirc)

Also, tonight on Panorama (BBC current affairs program), a piece on Marine LePen and her visits to see Putin, and otherwise to arrange party-funding because the French banks will not do it ... and Trump has been advised to not meet with her because of the tarnish!

How ridiculous don't meet with other prominent politicians or world leaders because the curtains will twitch and "whatever will the neighbours think!"

I really don't know what that £80 is referring to. We stayed over there couple nights out of season but can't remember how much. But can assure you it is a great hotel, with some of the best grub I've ever had and every nook and cranny pristine.

You may or may not be aware of a scandal developing in the US concerning the Obama administration spying on the Trump team that has been going on over a year. It concerns Obama, Susan Rice (former UN ambassador, and security advisor), and much of our intelligence agencies. Except for Fox, the mainstream is trying desperately to tamp it down. Susan Rice, you might remember is the one that went on five Sunday morning news programs and lied about Benghazi. Combine that with Obama crowd using the IRS to hammer conservatives and you have the foundation for tyranny. Would be the largest scandal in out history concerning a former president. These people make Richard Nixon look like the best of choir boys.

How it turns out is dependent on the republicans ability to investigate and prosecute. Normally they are spineless. Now there is Trump and Sessions, the attorney general. I saw figures the other day stating that as many as 90% of justice dept employees voted democrat so getting the deadwood out of these various departments is a daunting job itself.

I have been watching proceeding with great interest, especially Chaffetz and Gowdy in action. How in the hell is no one in prison already?

Yes really! The outed Impeached South Korean President is about to face criminal charges for far less, and in the US no one is touchable. Imagine what the US government would like if they had or applied the same standards? Clinton would be on trial, Obama, would be on trial for treason, and the rest would be scurrying like rats on a sinking ship!

The more interesting development is the made up narrative involving Syria's leader being accused of using chemical weapons! The big story is about to be exposed, that in fact CIA operatives are behind it! Funny how Rice a known liar is in the headlines again?

Many of us have been asking that question for years. You would not believe what is known about the Clinton foundation. It was nothing but a bribe collection organization while she was secretary of state. The Russian deal giving 1/4 or our uranium supply to them brokered by Bill for major contributions would put someone in front of a firing squad in times past. The news broke last week that Hillary requested and was granted access to state dept classified info (she and 6 assistants) for "research purposes". Very against the law. I'm hoping that people like Gowdy, Chaffetz and Sessions will take care of that part of the swamp that needs draining. I have always been a huge skeptic of government --- this crap coming out now is beyond anything I have ever imagined.
