Your presence on the thread was good enough for me to keep me in check and not do silly stuff. Was lucky to be able to catch the 2nd leg down. Had initially anticipated a slight deeper retracement but the rotational candle was nice. The risk involved was also quite high as the last swing was way up above the entry. Was good that all ended well.

its still good to have input from you even just a single comment a day can have a positive effect on us all

after finding your thread a few weeks ago my results have gone up by a massive amount ive been told many times there is no holy grail system stop looking but now i feel empowered to be finding these trading opportunities that for me i feel i have found my holy grail and its indicator free completely indicator naked who would have thought that all that time ive spent in front of the screen adding various indicators trying various things to find that each time it dint work for me

also ive noticed over time that people have mentioned paying you for your training and i would classify myself as one of those people i also noticed how you said time and time again that the only payment that you want is that people take what you teach on board and put it too good use well i was thinking what about setting up a donation page that goes to a charity of your choosing in the uk here we have something called just giving not sure if its available in the usa but might be worth looking into so that a charity could benefit from some of the money your being offered not a set fee but a self set donation

That's a really nice idea. I'm not sure how it would all work out though. I have to think about that. I don't want FF to think I'm doing any of this for money and shit it down.

Good morning.

May I ask a theory question ? I don't understand what is happening behind the scenes at the white square in the picture.
By that price action, I would assume bears were real powerfull and in no way would allow a pullback. But they did. Why often times after such a big show of strength like that, the price reverses a portion of the swing ?

This is a bit outside of Mr.Pip's teachings. Mr.Pip has referred to this strong last push as a "hail merry pass".
If liquidity is low, it doesn't take that much to move price, it might mean that there is zero buying (not that the bears are strong), also when there is a very good S/D zone from a larger TF price usually shoots towards it and bounces off of it hard. But to really understand what's going on behind the scenes you'd need a tool like Rocky uses to see the bids and offers on every price level and also the incoming orders at that point in time.

Thanks for the help. When I meant "behind the scenes", not the actual bids and offers at the movement. I meant ... the theory of why it happens.

Could you explain better the "hail merry pass" ? gonna search for it on this thread

PS: American Football wikipedia solves it: A Hail Mary pass is a very long forward pass (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forward_pass) in American football (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football), made in desperation with only a small chance of success.

could this also be people taking profit from their trades if quite a few are short then then have to close those positions at some point

i may be wrong but that was my thought as to a factor that could be in play ?

Could be... but I don't give much thought to this things. A few months ago I was really thinking about what might be the cause of a certain price movement and it affected my trading in a bad way. So now I focus only on what I see and I block out all other information.
Like I said before... it doesn't matter why something happened, the only thing that matters is did we make a profit out of it

Thanks for posting your sessions again Mr Pip. I'd really like to understand more about the scalping trading you have posted the last few sessions. Perhaps I've missed it, as I haven't been able to follow every post the last couple of weeks.

I understand it's still all aligned with structure analysis, order flow and bar by bar, but would love to know more about your rules for entries and exits with this scalping.

This is my first thime posting here.
I first want to thank MR.Pip for this great thread!

I hope we can help each other to become better traders.
My experience is like most traders, trading with indicators but never been profitable for a couple of months.

an offtopic question .... seeing that the markets are so livelly, i though on important issues that could improve my trading: more autohotkey commands for ninja and color schemes !

What do you guys prefer ?

think i prefer the bottom one to be honest i have mine set very close to mr pips as its very easy on the eyes

Was taught to use a grey scheme for the charts as it takes away some emotions compared to charts when there is colors involved. I have also changed my settings to Damian's Ninja Fib Settings.
