even if it is a demo account, so what, it is still great performance. whether it's all fake or for real, doesn't affect anyone in anyway. And how can the trade history on trade explorer be cheated? could u explain further. and how do u know that the many million dollar accounts are actually fake. give us another example of such an account with a logical reason this time.

Thanks for the words of caution and yes, I do find it strange that anyone would trade with such brokers while many other reputable brokers are equally accessible.

It's good to know that these sort of things are happening.

As for me personally, I don't have that kind of large money to be an investor in a PAMM account so for me, I'm learning to trade forex in order to trade a small live account hopefully in 3 months. That is if I can continue to show positive equity for 60 consecutive days.

I guess my question is, even though I like the Gann fan subject, is it now pointless for me to participate in this thread?

I suppose it would be pointless if the real agenda for this thread been compromised.

Alright, this is a last attempt to see if anyone is actually interested in discussing Gann fan methods. So it seems beneficial to analyze multiple time frames with the Gann fan. Below is a view of M15 and M30 as a followup to this AUDJPY post.

TGS - "Dumb" question; what time frame are you using to draw your Gann fan?. Obviously I see you're on the 1HR Chart, but, do you draw it on that specific time frame?. Thanks.

That's not a dumb question. The fan is drawn independently of other time frames. In other words, I draw on H1.

What an absolute mess of a thread, I don't even know why I bother with this place anymore, possibly boredom, anyway I'll let you know a professional traders opinion here.

Million dollar account in a non-regulated broker, sorry but anyone who cannot even comprehend how shady this is deserves to retract from learning proper forex knowledge. There has been many instances of brokers working with traders to manipulate results to attract whatever it is they want to attract. The most popular scam at the moment is to present a system with amazing results, make all the info look like it's free by showing some cool charts and some info. Everyone then starts to crowd around this poster like kids to a candy shop, then to a point where they treat him like a god, then BAMN out of nowhere, starts coming a signal service, pamm management etc etc.

I remember using GANN and Fib fans back in my early days in 2011, infact you can see me using them on my popular thread way back when I was a taxi driver first learning forex. The lines mean nothing, I shall repeat, NOTHING!!!! the fact price reacts around any line your brain "WANTS" to believe it's because of these lines, so you will convince yourself it means something, nothing serious, it's perfectly normal human behaviour, just the way our brain works, similar to a family member dying, many don't cry for days, weeks sometimes months, as the brain refuses to believe it's true, so it's possible to show no emotion whatsoever. Trust me, do this, place some random ass lines on your chart anywhere, any time any date, even with your eyes closed, then look at the chart, at some point, somewhere price will react to this line, then your brain will start convincing you once again these lines are important, even completely random blindly placed lines. I proved this in a seminar I did in a local college, I placed random lines without the students knowhow and asked them for analysis. Every single student, ALL OF THEM, started placing emphasis on these lines one way or another, pivot zones, resistence, support, supply, demand. Was incredible to witness. Seriously, if you do one thing from reading this rant out of my boredom, just go away now for 1 moment, close your eyes, and place random lines on the chart, I assure you 100% when you open your eyes, you will be staggered.

To end as I always say, please learn fundamentals, do any of you know what's happening right now in China? do you know Trump is meeting with Xinping this week? do you know about the confidence increase in business owners within the UK has risen tenfold since Brexit referendum, do you know how Hawkish all the FOMC members were last week about a 4th rate hike?

I am guessing that last bit I wrote was a different language for most of you guys, and if it is, then this is exactly why you are probably subbed to this thread and many meaningless others.

Seriously though, I just went and placed a random line on a chart, and I literally did this with my eyes shut, now it looks like some sort of pivot point, because of course at some point at the whole length of my screen price must of touched it and done something. Still even astonishes me when I do it now, seriously try it yourself place a random line and look at how important it looks.

Thanks for your insight.

One of the quotes that I believe and abide by is "If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you're doing," by W.E. Deming

I'm not trying to overly defend Gann fan lines but I can assure you that my lines are drawn based on following the same exact process and they're not random from chart to chart.

I think these types of lines generally work better for people who are more intuitive and subjective, not so much for people who are more analytical and objective.

Have you considered that this may just be a case of tools that don't fit your style of trading?

It's good to hear that you've seen the light but if you want to be taken seriously by thinking people with regards to having attained some greater understanding of the markets, you shouldn't make such claims unless you're prepared to back it up with proof.

There are a lot of free tools available for easily backing up your claim of this greater understanding, such as: screenshot of performance, trade explorer, myfxbook, etc.

Of course you don't have to provide any proof but in that case, you also shouldn't make such claims and expect to be taken seriously.

For example here is one of my recent average trading day Don't be so quick to jump in future, looking first before taking the jump may save you.
