The Pins to be used as tool in DASHPIN are the Pins that you made, or any Pin made also by others posted on Eax?

You can use all tools have PIN support ( Sam tools, HP tools... )

PS: You dont worry if you need ask. Its normal you dont know how works a tool that sometimes I dont understand too

To try this asap all i need to do it placing a few pins with same magic number of DashPin
and see the signal on Enabled group ....
I could place 3 Pins lets say on Group Pin 1
and 3 Pins on Group Pin 5 and should see the signal ?
But some Pins the way they are made don't have the magic number
so how they will connect ?
I mean they have magic number but internally and i cannot open to edit it is ex.4
wait ok i go check .. This is cool stuff man...

Yes. When I made DashTZ EAX only had 3 pins. DashTZ had 5. When EAX had 5 I added 25 in total... I think tobib was talking about something different because he have DashTZ and he used time ago

Placing Pins on Grup 1 is okay
but if i want place Pins on Group 2 too, then i need to have one more Eax of course right ?
and different Magic number ---- I think so makes sense ...

Yes. You put some pins in every group with rules you want ( modes) and you out the mix to master pin ( channel option at left of group triggers). That master pin can go to EAX or other DashPin creating chain of pins. It's so flexible.

Only tools you don't have limits in pin number ( channel) are Sam tools because it's using my PIN class. Other tools like MADdash you only can use pins 1 to 5. I can't do anything with that kind of tools

You don't need 2 EAX. Pins are not magic number. Magic number is for manage trades. If you want add pins to group 2 you only have do same you did in pin 1 group. Normally you will use tools with pin numbers different to tools you used in pin 1 group.

Every pin tool have option for set what pin number will use. That is the number you have put in channel option in DashPin

Ps: for enable a pin group you have do 2 things. Press button ( red when pressed) and set prioritiy to 1 and channel one not in use ( you can use 200 or above for example)

Ok. This works in this way

You have 2 tools. You have use PINs higher than EAX ( 1-6 ) because you dont want EAX see signals before be processed for DashPIN.

Every group have 5 PINS. You put tools PIN number in channel like capture. When you have added tools in group you have enable that group. This is made when you choose a PIN number for the group. In capture I used PIN 1 ( because I want send that group mix to that EAX PIN ). I set group priority to 1 too ( its mandatory ).

With this you have group enabled and EAX will see group mix in PIN 1

Rest of PINs are same. Normally you will send every group to one EAX PIN. Other option is send all group mixes to PIN OUT ( OUT goup ). But that is other history

PS: Triggers in every group is a filter for the mix. If you mix more 1 tool in a group values can be different 100/100. Triggers set what range of vaues are valid as signal

Okay I did a bit of Tests, I hope I got it right now_ I really enjoyed it a lot...

  1. What you are saying is that DashPin need to read the Signal Pins before the EAX
  2. So signal is processed and analyzed into DASHPIN first and it is sent to EAX to be displayed on it.
  3. Each Groups Sends the Signal to One Pin on The Eax
  4. Because Eax has 6 pins that is the reason why DashPin has to use Higher Pin Numbers over 6 / > 6

I have tried to use pin number 7/8/9, but didnt work,,,
So it needs to start from a Minimum Pin (Nr) 10 as you say in the photo
I set Channel-Group (1) Adx-10 / Pin Stoch-11 and I got Signal _ (okay market closed so not valid)
I set Channel-Group (3) i-Trend-20 / Dwm-21 / PinSymphony-22

To Set DashPin (3)-Channel
I was thinking that I need to follow sequence, from the last number, but I made mistake ..as after Pin 1 I went to Pin 3 and Counted from nr 15..
If for ex: on DashPin _(1)Channel, I use 10/11/12/14/14 (5_pins)
Then on Pin ________(3)Channel it is __20/21/22/23/24 (5_pins)
Random mixed way does not work, and you programmed it as sequence from Top to bottom

OH I see, i just realized from reading more
that actually I can set up Pin channel pin numbers of 10/11/12/13/14 for each Pin Group
because they belong to different Channels that is why in post Post 6,458 you have Pin Nr 10 on Pin_Group-5

You can use channels 7 to 10 too. Really you can use channel above 6 ( 7 to 255). Which tool didn't work using in pin 7?

You are wrong. You don't need follow any kind of sort. For example you can use #2 and #5 in one group, in other group #3 and #4...Same with pins numbers ( channels). In one group you can use something like 26,123,54,61 and 240 and will work. Only requeriment is have in every pin priority to 1 or higher. Maybe you missed that

I personally prefer you play some time with normal pins before try multiset. But the explanation is easy. Pin 5 is the group in DashPin. I used pin 10 for the tool I'm reading inside group but you can use other value. Remember every group is a pin reader. Then you select in channel option what pin number you want listen ( read). Value always depends what pin number you choose in the tool. Seeing your previous explanation it's evident you understood this point. Multiset mode is a normal pin group with same behavior than rest but with one difference. Only have 2 states ( on/off) and every state is linked to one pin channel for out state to EAX. But this is better don't use it now. Try learn normal modes first

Triggers are one of 2 state of art inside DashPin. When you mix some pins inside a group you get a value of that mix. Positive range is 1 to 100 ( buy). Negative range is - 1 to - 100. Zero is no signal. One Pin signal only can have 3 values ( 0/100/-100). When you mix some pins the result can be lower depending if have signal or not. Opposite signal makes very interesting effects in the mix too. But I will explain with example

You have 2 pins in one group. You have in group triggers 100/100. Pins priorities are 1 ( all pins have same importance)

#1: 100 ( buy)
#2: 100 (buy)

Mix will be 100 and you will have a buy signal because it's inside range. This way force all tools have same signal for have valid signal.

But if you have this:

#1: 100 ( buy)
#2: 0 ( no signal)

Mix will be 50 and you will not have signal because it's lower than min trigger ( 100). But now it's the magic thing. Maybe you want have signal if one of them have valid signal. If you put min trigger to 50 last mix will show buy signal because #1 have signal.

But what happens with trigger 50/100 if we have this:

#1: 100 ( buy)
#2: -100 (sell)

Now we have opposite signals. Even we have valid signal, both are contradictory. Fortunately mix shows 0 and its outside range then we don't have signal. This is a simple example how works priorities and how triggers control way you will have signals. With modes in every pin even you can have more control but that is better in a future when you feel comfortable with basic configurations

Forget multiset while you don't understand basic behavior. Later will be easier for you use advanced options. About tools don't let use free pin number (only use eax range) you can use it in DashPin but that channel will be useless because will be readed for EAX too

Will read all, but it was good to know hat Pins can be mixed with their numbers and don't need to follow sequence ..

I have some question about CSS indicator: i don't understand why i can't see any alert when appears an arrow.
I want to ask if CSS repaint .
I will make more tests monday. I'm working to my template and it looks great.

Normally my tools only supports push notifications but css have dialog alerts too. Search it in options.

All mtf tools repaints. But css is slightly different. Real time not repaints, shows real drawing. But if you reload css then you will see a slightly difference. But only while your highest TF have candle opened. If you are using D1 as highest TF in css, previous days will show same histogram even if you reload it. But current day you will have differences. But it's normal because D1 candle is changing in every tick and it's used for calculate force.

The trick for avoid this is when you find good setup increase entry level a bit. If you use 1.0 then put 1.30 for example. That will reduce crosses in real time. This repaint effect will be solved with new MAs I'm making.

PS: My css version at this moment it's very different to original which is based. Really it's almost a non repaint version of original. Even comparing with original my build repaints affects little comparing with original which past histogram is very different to real time drawing

First capture is right. That are the alerts. Second capture you have use 3 TFs. If you use less I don't know how will work because calculations are made taking all TFs. You can change TFs but never change number of TFs or let one TF field blank
