Disliked{quote} this is basically what I'm stuck trying to structure a question about. how can I go about determining a failure when going back over the historical data to then find out cool alien stuff like how much u can squeeze out of a failed trade you also seem to involve the body of the candle a lot aswell lem. whats the basis behind that, does it play a role in 'failures' or countering when the original break of a boundary isn't clucking like it should beIgnored

Disliked{quote} Make sure you differentiate between Alien techniques which belong to Forex Alien, and the Advanced Alien civilization, which belongs to TRO. It is time to come out of the closet about TRO. He is no longer a stealth vendor. He is busy in another website. ( I know you know that). TRO has made some decent contributions to the FX world as far as I can see.Ignored
Disliked@Billly - if you want a new idea I got one and is so simple but you do the stats.Ignored
Disliked{quote} There are stats available which show that price will leave the ''zones-formed-by-wicks'' and that is the basis for this style of trading. Originally developed in a galaxy far, far, away for the Daily candle but equally as valid for H4 (and for any others, come to that matter). The key point is that you enter as price leaves the zone, not as it enters.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi, actually my book is/was based on some of the ridiculous and scandalous trades/methods used by people and the topic aimed at gurus. It started a few years ago when euro was being smashed to pieces and fell heavily, gurus screaming out sell sell sell, THEN IT REVERSED and killed a lot of little traders. Anyway i got lots and lots of information then received a couple of solicitors letters warning me off lol.Ignored
Disliked{quote} thank you very much billy. this thread is empowering. my interest in finding simplicity was drawn in by tooslow's threads then I saw Lem frequented this thread quiet a lot so quickly browsed over it and I don't intend on looking back lol. over the weekend I plan on working up some statistics over the past year or two (however much I can cram in) on the cable and then start my journey are the stops used in the h4 breakout (if one is to use stops as opposed to a counter) based on the other extreme of the candle or is this something found through...Ignored

Disliked{quote} so its not used in a way were prices has broken and coming back to it. your saying its when it leaves the wick zone again after coming back through it. G/U has come back inside that h4 wick zone, so do you make use of it if it were to leave that zone to the downside again? also any insight on my question about finding the right stop through the stats?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi, short post i hope. I believe Tooslow has based his method on Frequency Distribution Range, which i do but i had no idea what it was called, it was self taught lol. My Lady friend is also a maths lecturer and she has brought the FDR up too. 04-00 break. you can use a stop for the length of range ,i prefer to counter. You dont lose until you close a trade. i am currently working on the 07-45 break. Cable is good for this, E/J good for the 07-30 break lol. I use 20 for a fail for stats. you need a line to work off. Keep asking questions...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Using your GU move as an eg: First trade would have been a Failed BreakOut (note, Billy uses a 5-pip buffer on the first break, I do not - I will probably be changing that having run it both ways for a while to see what's what. So his trade would not have triggered). {image} Second trade will trigger as it exits the lower WZ and back into the body of the candle. {image} Where the original trade is closed and / or counter begins will depend on the shape of the candle (for me - again, Billy does it slightly differently).Ignored
