Ok going to give you an approach that is a licence to print money. In the last 9 years or so that I have kept stats. Never had a win rate under 75% in any month, mainly in the 80-90% range, with the losses being tiny and often trades closed before stop loss hit. The win rate does not rely on ridiculous levels of drawdown for its success, in fact it is so small its hardly worth mentioning. Wait wait wait ! Look I did not do this to be mean and FF rather muted the affect by moving to Journals when it was clearly a system I was talking about.
Those who anticipated this like “Fighterdude” may get it, those who respond with petulance are really what this is all about.
Anyway that aside the intention was to draw attention to a lot of the absurdity that abounds in FF. I have no desire to be Guru and such crap seriously.
Pretty sure the old hands will understand were I’m coming from and you new guys really have to question yourselves. There is a lot of good solid information in this place and some really good posters that get drowned out by Fraudsters and Trolls who FF choose to ignore because largely it’s all about click bait. They range from the “after the fact” heroes to the “Suck you in slowly” crew who are so cunning in their craft they are highly plausible.
New guys and I see some well worn handles too who still roam from system thread to system thread. Seriously what do you hope to find? I have long periods of inactivity here but during this last bout of activity, I’ve noticed a whole new level of craziness. I’ve seen guys who barely know what margin is asking about wild EA’s promising great riches and people wanting ready to go spoon fed system that they can follow like robot without having any understanding of the market. So they try XYZ system and they say it doesn’t work and on to the next one that’s in the Hot Section and so on and on and on………. And most times they rant at the thread starter about proof of this and proof of that, you know what I mean don’t you?
Just stop and do yourselves a big favour. Try and calculate how much time you have wasted on trying this and that system. Would that time not be better spent on actually watching charts, really getting to know the pair/pairs you like and then trying to formulate a method around your own observations?
I came across a member recently who set up a journal April Challenge, Barloc. Go and read his opening post. He wants to develop a functional scalping method but what is refreshing to see, he is just getting on with it by exploring and testing himself. He has recognised that is an area he wants to master and just getting on with it. I think he will come up with something too as that is the best way to learn and the right attitude.
I’ve never done any courses but why anyone would pay to be taught something like this is wild. Ask yourselves why is the failure rate still so high with the ever increasing amount of courses available? I have been asked to name my price to teach somebody today! Do you see how ridiculous that is? I’m someone on the internet they have never met and yet happy to offer cash just like that. Ah some say it’s because they have tried everything and desperate to find a way to success. I say bullshit you won’t find your way to success offering strangers on the internet cash !!
Be the architect of your own success, it is not insurmountable, most defeat themselves with poor outlook and feeling sorry for themselves and then troll and take out frustrations on other members. Use that time wisely!!!
So to all those that wanted to follow the Guru into “never never land” I’m sorry to disappoint you but the reality is only trust yourself. I’m not saying don’t discuss ideas and explore by comparing ideas etc but this hope of blindly following and endless search of the Grail is futile.
For the ones who were expecting an extension of their mother’s breast just unsubscribe and return me to none Guru land.

This approach to trading takes mental toughness and agility. That is knowing when you are wrong, not holding a trade which no longer fits the reason you got in. Letting a bad trade spiral out of control is mental weakness. This isn’t a John Wayne movie were it comes good for the hero. In this movie heroes get slaughtered because the market is always right!!
If anyone wants to remain and trial some trading based on my particular approach, I’m happy to pop in and answer some questions here and there. Can’t and won’t commit to being in here on a permanent basis.
The statement I made about hit rate etc isn’t BS that is fact but I am not prepared to sit and breast feed people who can’t be bothered to try themselves. And I won’t answer questions about brokers, risk, money management etc, it’s just lame and you should already know that stuff.
Also the “ give me proof of bank statements” and such like comments is no chance, so don’t even go there. I’m not selling anything, goods or services nor do I ever intend to. I also only trade my own money.
The switched on guys will already know I have a thread in recycle bin which pretty much covers all that I do and to show no hard feelings have put those posts into a word document in first post as the charts don’t show up for some reason in the trash can.
If there is activity in here I will keep thread open, if not in the trash can it goes.
My intentions are honourable. Life will certainly go on. Have A Good Weekend !
