ATM it looks like we will get an bearish roll in Euro. For USDx looks like we get an roll below 100 again and below yesterday close so will say neutral roll if it roll around this level. So I am keeping my bearish view and are not considering longs at all from this levels. Plenty of resistance that need to be broken for Euro to continue up. 1.0830 to 1.0870 is a big resistance zone . I have updated some levels in my tiny colorful chart that I attach . I will update on the roll. I will absolutely consider to add bearish if we roll around this levels to fade the rejection 1.0830

I would add a Long here for .087x as I still have this gut feeling that .097x is in the cards of this extended retrace.

Pharm0r,

I have only one long left in play from .0710 w trailing stop under .0780. Today, is an example of me not taking my profit of 100 pips at .0826 and maximizing my gains. I have .087x on the radar and have capital safe and only risking profit. However, I am not letting it retrace much back w my trailing stop.

But, if I add to this position at .079x my stop would be under .0710 and this could reduce my PROFIT but r:r is still better while we are above .0710. PLUS, Capital is safe now.

Even direction is right or not i dont think it worth to buy gerek as r/r...May be to steal some pips ok..But to aim 70 pips onu is risky.... Also if Your stoploss around 0710 will cause to looses+cannot sell at that level i think. Better to be flat. Sell high buy low...Cheap tickets expensive ones...Allah disipline rules are oposite. Sure can say intraday low fits buy low. Most of the time to be flat is better.

We got an bearish roll in Euro. 1.0830 was rejected today ( 1.08247 the highest on my chart ) and it is also where the EMA200 on daily is that also give additional confluence for the level. So choose your poison again. USDx closed again below 100 and with an rater bearish close but not much left to form a double bottom

...and we are rolling with Euro bulls coughing at these levels but with an irrelevant close so far. London news put a soft hand break in the flows but we are back to normal flows from today's close.

On the rest of the board, a uneventful day for trading with US Equities in desperate need of a news, reports or a tweet to hold the last micro break...

Don't get it. Why? Only if you are trading to 'the tick' you will have a permanent issue with that....remember we discussed many times as for entries, exits shouldn't be set to the exact 'tick'. Couple of points from previous conversations:

 

  1. Smart money enters slow and exits fast
  2. Load in calm waters when everybody is distracted and bored, and clear when the momentum is still intact and everybody is jumping on board. Don't be greedy leave the crumbs for the laggers, and;
  3. If your targets are failing by crumbs every time, just set your PT 10 or 15 ticks (in the range you are talking but it can be as much as +50 / +75 in mid term swings) below/above your actual targets. That way, if you are right in the move, you will always get filled, giving plenty of time to plan your next move....

Good ...that you post your wrap up. For those lurking around. This is an excellent exercise to do it day by day. It will keep you accountable and also always in synch or telling you when you loss synch with the market

I will track your post closely and we'll discuss it in detail.

So again no longs for @Earleone . Fourth consecutive time ...for the sake of the argument lets take a fourfold bet with a long 1.079x ... we'll discuss later

PS: In that chart, you are planting even more trees in already dense forest ...my 2 cents, you have way too many levels and 'magic' lines ...you are going to get lost in translation. The answer to your current concerns about this leg is not there in my books ....

Agree it is very sad day. It is appalling that your initial thoughts are for how it has the potential to be a political chess move in giving weight to the argument for closed borders. Surely strong condemnation and acceptance that what you describe as an isolated incident, has resulted in 3 murders and reportedly 20 other casualties, would be more appropriate in what can only be described as a true hate crime.

I hope you were right and most will think like you, but I doubt it.

We'll check the main headlines and newspapers in the upcoming days...press and mass media from the 'almighty' BBC to the crappy Tabloids full of hate and lies are long gone from reporting fact and objective news ...science, facts, research, technical opinions and real facts doesn't really pay the bills any longer for them.

I am targeting .087X for this last position move. However, I may be wrong. I decided to put in a trailing stop in case I am to at least keep 70 pips of this trade. I added another long though at .079X to see if .083X gets broken and triggers stops to .087X. On a Weekly chart from a TA perspective a Trend Line from the Top of .14XX gives merit to .10XX, .097X and .087X---BUT, it depends on how you want to frame it in. Therefore, I would rather play a LONG to .087x AND THEN wait to SHORT on a Price extension upwards if that happens or take one position at .087x and then add to it if price goes higher. This way I limit my drawdown if price continues higher and I have a ticket or two in play.

My thoughts are that unless you are playing the momentum play, why add so high up- if this is accumulation/distribution we'll be down and up down and up.

Simply how I'm seeing it if I were trading my plan, not trying to tell you how you should trade your own plan

I see your point and trust me, I am only in with small amount of Reward money in play. My thoughts are to get better seats and be patient on for a better ticket if it presents itself. These are cheaper tickets for the Momentum play. But, I am playing them by taking profit every 100 pips with 3 to 4 positions. The LONG play is only with small amount of reward money and I only had 2 positions which were at .0640 and closed for profit. Took another Long at .0710 which is in profit. I am still holding it and looking for a bigger move to .087X. I did add a small LONG at .079X for TP at .087X. I was just trying to raise for reward money to SHORT with less Cap and more Reward.

I always appreciate your comments!
