i agree crossbone. i don't know what these traders or looking for. this is one reason why 95% of traders lose money, whining all the time. so i have a question for these traders.

I make money trading the news. My FXCM trade history can attest to that so does several other persons who easily doubled their equity every 3 trades.

IF 95% of the news traders dont make money, then why in hell do you think News Trading is still alive today? Think about it and come back for the answer.

I'm a Winner Trader who got cheated by GFT. I shifted from FXCM to GFT because FXCM was making it difficult for me to make money out of them. Upon recommendation of other people (that GFT is ok) I signedup but before making deposit, I told them that I am a news trader; I specifically told them that Execution is paramount to me and I dont want 1-2 minutes of waiting for the fill to show. They totally lied and filled at the worst price and showed it to me 2 minutes after! HELL they lied so they can get me to deposit money.

Sure I lost money to GFT - hell I can live with that and live to tell the bad experience to all. And what do you do? It is so easy for you to tell us "whiners" and "lame". If you are not a solution, better not join the discussion. You totally have no grasp of the situation until you personally experience this for yourself. I dont step on you so better give the courtesy and step aside instead. You are making this personal.

woo scary. i had the same experience with broker's it happen's learn and move on. there's a bigger picture here. trading, making money. see my motto below.

Though I am new to forex, I am not new to learning. I know when to move on; so what If I lost money with GFT; I can got it back with my 2nd broker who played fair with me last Friday. I moved on by closing that GFT account and telling others to be aware of GFT cheat - note my original text:

I would seem to me that a large part of the reason for FF to be here is so that we can exchange ideas and information. That way we can learn from each other's experience rather than all having to maike the same mistakes. Part of that includes sharing broker experiences, both good and bad, which I have also done in these hallowed forums when appropriate. I have slammed one broker for what they did and praised another for their above average handling of platform problems. I did this so that others could consider that information when selecting a broker or to see if there was a pattern of repeated problems if the same things happened to them. To me this is valuable.

Conversely, I benefit from the experience of others. I do not feel that I have to recreate the wheel.

if i offended you im sorry. i just see so many new traders get caught up in broker's and trying to find the holy grain. i agree with you about brokers been there and don that but don't let that take up your trading time stay focus there's a reason why you got into forex don't forget that.

So i trade with a certain company in discussion here.

I am new to this forum and fx trading. hi ppl. So i am 24 years old and I just got off on the wrong foot in the world of trading. I took my sign on bonus and started day trading and just never looked back. I know its addictive and it is wrong, but what can i say? its my sin.

So yes, i am a die hard news trading fan in the world of fx, ultra short hold (3 minutes?) of position, maximum leverage, and bail out while in the gain.

Not to revive a dead thread, but, I can understand where BK is coming from. I am thinking of straddling the market with ..erh..someone.

This is how i look at it, lets say news comes out, market SHOULD shoot up, my short positions buy limit kicks in. Right at the time when it kicks in, i bet you there are TONS of people putting in buy orders (these are your news traders). So my closing position is providing the liquidity. it should get closed out very quickly - assuming you aren't trading 100 million dollars. maybe 2 seconds. but 2 mins is very fishy.

I dont know, i should re-assess my strategy.

This happend TWICE. Same way, same tactic. First time I take it as a glitch and calmly said to myself my bad luck it happend. Second tme its totally "Dealing Desk trading against the traders". Surely I am not being one of those "IF YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT, TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY OUT NOW!!" without explaining my situation. I have fully detailed my situation for all eyes to see clearly. Surely I am whining being a NOOB like that - its totally normal for everyone to CRY OUT LOUD and BEING A CRY BABY. Its totally "human".

I have talked to the broker and they dont give hoot nor make any "neutral" answer. "Price jumped passed my price" explanation was easily debunked by their own official TICK Chart. And they gave an all encompasing silver bullet answer "No market to fill". When broker starts answering with that - it simply means they dont have enough bank (aka liguidity) partners making it totally dangerous to trade with.

I know many veteran traders dont tell out what broker they use. I already know that as I have posted weeks ago. Its part of their trade secrets. And I am not a veteran trader so I'd go try out on my own... pitty me the guiniue pig! And lucky you all that I am honestly unselfishly sharing my unbiased experience!
