around 8-10 pips above pivot but honestly - i think my SL Placement is a bit arbitrary in this case (not good ). I agree with your chart but we got red news for USD in a couple hours so careful there mate

hi All,

I see that there are lots of people who use the TDi on FF....... I know the thread started by talking about divergence between TDI and
price BUT i am not really interested in divergence as I am trying to find alternative Oscillators to signal on overbought/OS lines

Having looked at the TDi, it doesnt really do it ( unless my settings are wrong)

I have been looking at short term Stochs and RSI on lower settings..... more trades, BUT more false set ups as well. I have looked at the StochRSi
( originally in 2002 !), it gives more signals ( ob/os ) but not necessarily more accurate.

Anyone knows of any other Oscillators probably custom ones ??

Following "overbought" and "oversold" through oscillators. won't get you there. The closest I've seen to that working is "multi-time frames."


Check out Teb or Spudfyre (use the forum search function). I tried that for months, and months. I don't think they are better and I am make consistent, good, trades, based on Price Action, S/R, and TDI (mostly divergence).

Honestly, following the thoughts in this thread, will make you good, consistent pips.

Dz TDI PolyChromatic indicator

... just an experiment using Dyanamic Zone with TDI RSI.

This is just a hybrid version of Dynamic Zone PolyChromatic Momentum Indicator originally developed by Dennis Meyer, and a newer version made by mr. mladen. I simply combined the TDI RSX plus the DzPolyChromatic indicator features/function... Then I stripped it down to three options with an added commonly use TDI classic RT version.

Note: The DLL file (dynamicZone.dll) must be save under .../MQL4/Libraries

This is the pattern I look for over and over again. Have lots of success with it.

Divergence at the big number/WPP. Creates a lower high. Red and Green are under Yellow.

Sell, 80+ pip move LO.

GA moved well last night, pulled back, you can see what I perceive to be hidden divergence. Entry at red vert line. 30ish pips It may go for more, but it looked to be ranging to me, so I got out.

GCAD, Just got in, divergence, lower high, against S/R and Big number. It is counter-trend. The 200 MA is almost 100 pips away. Already up, about 10 pips. We shall see.


Edit to say, 50 pips. Good stuff. Hope you guys are having a good day.
