J I agree I am not saying a 16 year old isn't a girl. I was quoting the law here and that fact still stands regardless and is a minimum without doubt. I would argue with the science about there being no difference in 13-16 year olds. Not all science is reliable, not all science is science, some people believe everything Stephen Hawking says and yet you can't actually hear him speak. It's strange that you have not got unity on the consent issue in the states, I believe some states are comfortable with the age of 12.

Glad you have a better understanding of Brexit because it might be naive to think it can't happen in US and not learn from our lesson.

Again, the term, sick, is relative, as is the the term, normal. If I have struck too close to home for you as woman jen, please accept my apologies. You cannot see that you are living inside of your own matrix, but most people cannot be unplugged because without it, you would have no meaning. Those states with those consents are widely considered backwards in the Union. Elvis married his wife at 16. We know this because of the flak he caught for marrying a girl. There are other correlations with income and education with a very low consent age as well in those states. I will stand however on the fact that we will never be anything like the EU. Dev stated that he was tired of me saying to send the Ishmaelites home. I can confidently say that if they ever came close to the disruptions they are causing there, the will be in Gitmo, or they will go home. They will be given an option.

Just watch the vid I just posted. The US has similar issues, if you sweep it aside and think it can't get to the scale it has here you might miss a trick. That was a common thought here 30 years ago.

With regard to shaking pillars, for me it just doesn't need exploring any further. Our argument isn't about personal thoughts on consenting age, the law has established an age and for the greater part most families through discussion and educating their kids don't need a law, they exercise common sense. You know the issue now and that is a monumental clash of cultures, with the muslim section of society refusing to assimilate to the West in favour of their barbarous sharia.

I have no post grad study only my own close observations of human pain. How to inflict it and how to relieve.

You are entitled to your opinion just as I am entitled to mine. I appreciate what you are saying; we are all very much influenced by our cultures and there are some things we simply find unpalatable. I have 2 daughters, age 5 and 8. A topic like child grooming is just hideous to me.

Being educated is entirely separate from having common sense and even being smart. I have a brother in law with a PhD in Maths, yet he is unable to do the first layer of the Rubik's cube without instruction.

Those with spirit, determination and enterprise left and went to America. This has gifted the white gene-pool in the USA with some superior qualities. That does not mean there is none left here in the UK, but we swim in the morass which has been borne from idleness. I remember the T-shirts when I was at Uni, "Apathy Rules, ok". We do not have a constitution, that is one thing potentially good about the EU ( ) and as such we have to do as we are told. The various services had become answerable to performance metrics, and so in the 90s the police were prosecuting the softest targets because they were easy targets, with jobs and an interest in paying their fines, simple paperwork and an impressive growth in crime prosecution rates. Also those targets did not run away, unlike the untraceable or 'no fixed abode' miscreants. That phase seems to have passed.

Or was it the no hopers who had nothing to lose by jumping on a boat to make the perilous journey? If you were successful and had it good, you would probably not take the risk of not making it to some alien land.

By the way, the average IQ in America is 99. In the UK it is 100.

And.... how do you explain the Australian gene pool then?

I know a few £10 Poms who did very well. We even produced a £10 pom Prime minister there, don't know how good she was though.
