Score it well, dry it and rub in loads of salt. 1/2 an hour at 220 degrees, then the rest of the cooking time at 180.

When I was in France last summer, I saw the Milky Way for the first time - amazing. Just don't see it here, so much light pollution.

Very dangerous times here in the US. A day before leaving office, Obama authorized Loretta Lynch to direct various security agencies to share information. The Wikileaks releases show our intelligence agencies are out of control. Combine that with Obama crowd using the IRS to hammer conservatives and conservative organizations prove (to me, anyway) that had another Clinton been put in office, free elections would have been a thing of the past. Comey (director of FBI) is getting as arrogant and dangerous as J. Hoover was in his last days. Trump is outmaneuvering the libs at every turn. Problem is, new crap gets uncovered almost daily.

Eat a lot of pork. Pork loin grilled with proper seasoning and over applewood charcoal always hard to beat. Always use thermometer when grilling. Redhead makes a stuffed loin in oven that is also to kill for. Was a good article Stu shared. My grandpa and uncle raised hogs when I was growing up. Raised in faring houses on concrete. Automatic water's, feeders and ropes they could pull to give themselves showers when it was hot. That was back in the late fifties and early sixties. Very smart animals and cleaner than some people I've known through the years.

{quote} No I don't see what you mean the law here says 16 minimum. Anything under that is paedophilia. So a culture that openly thinks it's ok to marry a 12 year old in my country is clearly a problem. No further discussion required, it's clear as night and day. Don't need to concern about other areas of the world or what porn industry thinks. Their culture is a problem. I don't want it in my country. Even the homegrown ones who have the same beliefs, they can be sent to the lands of their parents and grandparents if they want to act on those beliefs....

I think most people here in the US would be happy with a 16 year old minimum. I wonder what made the UK decide on 16 as THE number? Why not 17, or 15?

{quote} Why is creationism the only "logical" path? There is nothing logical about a story written a couple of millennia ago. Enlighten me, where is the (scientific) proof? What proof do you have that "Lord" exists? Why is it the Christian God and not Allah, or the Hindu Gods or any other? Is it OK to sodomize 12-13 year old boys, if in your view it is OK to have sex with 12-13 year old girls? How about homosexuality? That is not something the Bible condones. You see, there is no rational reasoning to support a religious argument. Once you try to...

The scientific proof is in the big bang itself. Where did the singularity that caused it come from? Proof of an engineer is everywhere you look in nature, even in your own body. Sodomy is not sanctioned in the Abrahamic religions. As far as having sex with a 13 year old girl, Stu just informed me that you only have to wait 36 more months and you are good to go, so I think most people who like young girls would be quite happy with 16. Homosexuality is not condoned, you are quite correct. As far as looking stupid goes, the definition of stupid is subjective, like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder.

"Why not 17, or 15?" I've no idea why. It's the law, does it matter why? Fact is it is our law so a culture which thinks it's ok to take a 9 year old bride is not welcome. I'm not discussing it further, it's weird wanting to fathom why. Internal message just says wrong. And the talk of waiting for 16 if you like young girls is creepy, enough said.

"Sodomy is not sanctioned in the Abrahamic religions" Yes they bunch of hypocrites. I have mates who worked all over the middle east in petro-chem industry and say it is rife. Just like male Catholic priest have a penchant for young boys, that's not sanctioned but it's rife.

Sometimes it is an interesting thought exercise on how laws get made. As far as creepy, that is a lot like stupid. If that creeps you out, don't do it. It is good that you acknowledge your internal message. It's another way of saying that it is "how we feel." Most humans have them. The trick is understanding the psychology that makes those internal messages occur, because they are not formed in isolation. The fact that you folks elected a Muslim mayor to a global city does not bode well for traditional values.

As far as sodomy goes, that has nothing to do with the religion itself.

It's nothing like stupid to me it's creepy. I mean it doesn't even need a law IMO it's coded in to most sane people and I don't fall for any clap trap about it being an illness. Anyone that is caught interfering with kids I would personally execute them.

No a Muslim mayor doesn't bode well.

I was making the point of lots of things aren't sanctioned but the behaviour is prevelant.

16 is the minimum age for legal marriage in the UK. It (the marriage) has to be consented by the parents because 'people' are not considered legally competent until they reach age 18. Historically 16 is also the age at which basic qualifications from school are attained and thereafter a number of youngsters would leave and start their lives.

That is the only questions that bears further investigation. Where did all this stuff, from which everything is made, come from? I like the thought of engineering as a fundamental religion.
