59fifty , in the same boat as well. Got caught in the bloody "snap out of no where". Should have gotten out with a small loss and DID NOT use my trading discipline to do so. I can hear Mark Douglas yelling in my ear !! I MUST NOT repeat this mistake again.

Hi guys very crazy times for me.
My son after numerous tests is going to surgery for his lung.Please don't post good wishes I appreciate it.Its little awkward sharing this in trading forum.
My wife under lots of stress had some kind of anxiety attack that I had to take her to hospital and was put under care and doing well now and is at home now however she is not stable emotionally.
Then I wake up this morning and read one of the posters I removed started an embarrassing thread in member lounge.Really sad to read the shit there.

Lets move on.
Market is still pricing in the rate so I am in damage control mode.We could see moves against USD on Thurs but no sighn of it now.

Boring week so far in my opinion. Guessing that is why thread is slow for responses. Nothing really to trade.

I've been toying with 4hr chart and monthly pivots. Slower chart fits me better. Less opportunities however.

The following explains a lot about why the Kiwi dropped so hard. Those in the know were aware milk and milk products were dropping in price.

GDT Auction prices dropped 6.3%. "The decline in GDT prices was slightly lower than expected by futures markets which had priced in an 8% decline. Prices have now dipped below March 2015 highs and the sharp retreat in this auction is likely to increase doubts surrounding the long-term recovery in prices.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) maintained a neutral policy stance at the latest monetary policy meeting and the latest GDT data will tend to lessen speculation that the Reserve Bank will need to move to a tighter policy bias which will lessen underlying currency support.
The RBNZ is also likely to be less tolerant of gains in the New Zealand dollar with the risk that verbal intervention will increase."

I took a pretty bad loss on the the A/N at 1.08 when it broke the neckline on the 10 month range it's been in. It's been a crap week for me. Also holding U/C shorts and previously booked a loss on E/C. I'll have to have a breather and reduce multiple entries.

Guys, just a hint,
as i understand current situation about US rates ect.. data released in 15 min should be prompter for raising/not raising hike in March.. in my eyes..big impact, carefull.

There obviously lots of opportunities opening up as price pushes to extreme levels
AC for one is dropping nicely and AN showing signs of retrace and lots of pairs in key levels.
Someone mentioned this thread has gone quiet...dahhh market has gone quiet!!! Please before you place any trades define your stop loss.My SL could be inoperative to yours hence I don't really like talking about it.
Point I am trying to make is yes losses will occur on any system but controlled losses what we want not allowing 100 to become 2k loss.
Anyway green pips

Davit , in my opinion as well , the USD/CAD should have been knocking on the door of 1.35 , those numbers seem very suspicious to me. You posted a chart recently where the USD/CAD was extended , awaiting a correction. Quite frankly , I haven't seen you miss yet ! Very interesting indeed ! Really has me thinking about the effect of relevant News over the next 2 days , and if it will affect this pair significantly.
