AUD Trade Balance

Any thoughts or past charts on this report?

Past charts show that its very dangerous to trade this piece of news. Last month, AUD trade balance improved dramatically and yet, AUD weakened!

If you cant resists, this piece of news does not produce far more than 15 pips of move therefore, straddle 5 pips away and 5 pips tp.

I'd rather stand aside.

I no longer have FXCM. My main account is GFT followed by NorthFinance (as I like MT4).

Not totally satisfied with GFT. And honestly very dissapointed that they have slippage on minor AUD news like yesterday's when with FXCM, I can do so with no problem....


Im currently evaluating COESfx's MT4. I wonder if CoesFX MT4 is ready for primetime as they are still having some problems.

Oh ok. Well I'm sure in time we will find the right broker for us and a method that makes us money. Well bout to get set up for this trade....I'll post after.

BTW. There is strong Resistance around 0.7600. Expect it wont go up higher than this one..

I missed placing SELL Market when it hit 0.7590s... It was too fast!

Well it didnt really move much and I saw my broker widen the spread to about 10 pips, so I lost some on this trade. Only a micro lot though ($1000). Lost a few dollars.

did you see the spike up to 7265? that was oddly delayed.

Seems like some of the brokers split the bid / ask spread so you can't make a decent profit. I'll have to deal the brokerage about this. It is a new issue.

yeah musta been a bad tick on TradeStation.

VT Trader showed a spike to 0.7622, after the fact. Both the FXCM demo and the *live* MB Trading account stayed "within range"...

I sat this one out as well...

After the AUD trade balance announcement, audusd spiked down and then up on my MT4 platform, but only spiked up on my VT platform. Any ideas why?

On my screen, I had a high of 7594 and a low 7565. I shorted at 7574. I ended with -8 pips.

I am just guessing here, but maybe there a few stops around .7600 that triggered. Hence the whipsaw down from .7594.

i had buy order on 0.7592 and sell order on 0.7573
news candel high is 0.7593
but i'm feeling lucky i delet my buy order, then after on second the price hit 0.7593
and i'm flat no loss no profit I think there is no big money on this report because the deviation btw 4cast and actual number is huge and no big move like the past

hope end this week with some profit today with CAD employment

Does anyone have something else on the charts? I've compared two different software platforms. They don't reflect the same price movements.
