Hello Symphoenix why you are not updating this ea if is better than The Vektorion EA Project?

hello to one and all!

first of all thanks to Symphoenix for sharing this EA with us. I Have been testing this EA for 3 weeks now, 1000 deposit, lot sice of 0,05 with E/U, E/G G/U, U/CHF, G/J , U/J, E/J. Money managment i put to 0.
First week was very great! 600 Profit in one week was more then someone can dream off, no big down draw, everything sweet.
Then the first mess happend G/J reached to a unbelievable lots sice of 1.8 lot, it scrached ultimate sell protection (1,8 lot) by only 200 points and from there the market went up until my acount was blown the first time. Later the market went down but it was to late already.

What I learned from that is that I have to reduce the lot sice for U/J, E/J and G/J drasticly to 0,02. Thinks went on well first but then J/U and J/E "went wrong" the same way , they just "scraced " ultimate protection low by 200 to 250 point and from there the market went up and up until it killed the acount again.

I know that Symphoenix created that EA for E/U only. But i can make great profit on E/J, U/J, G/J. I´m not a coder but I believe a good observer. @Symphoenix is it possible to ajust the ultimate protection low and high by something like 300 point, somehow I believe the EA would run much better!

Read post #298. Believe me, it's human nature to wish and will this thing to work, but like I said, it may work for a week, a month, hell several years, but eventually IT WILL kill your account.

I attached the sy_firstgrid EA to a single and multiple charts including EURUSD but I still have same issue which is the SAD face on the top right corner and hence the EA did not operate as expected. I used the default settings without a change and kept it running for few days but the case is the same!!!

Hi, did u press the autotrade button ?? Maybe u forget to press the autotrade button after u load the ea on the chart. It work for me.

one problem am facing with this is that the EA is way to slow when backtesting on tick data. Is there any way to speed this up ?

thank u but i still think martgl is too risky to use.

how do u change the lot size? my trade keep opening 0.01 lot size.

a simple question..if, can be create this EA inglobing the inds's code inside the EA's code,maybe the back test can be faster?

I have been testing your EA last few months in a demo account. What I observed is that the EA fails to account for the running orders when the mt4 shutsdown and restarts. It simply leave the old orders and start afresh with new first order. This may be due to some bugs in the coding. Secondly the EA performance differs in live account due to various reasons like data feed in the ECN mt4, latency etc. Can please these issues and make necessary correction in the codes?

I want few more orders added to the existing orders beyond Ultimate. We can keep the initial order lot size small. To increase the profitability we can add some more trending pairs like EURAUD, GBPAUD, GBPCHF. Trending pair selection can be made from the average daily movement of price from http://tinyurl.com/ycu62fhd.

Please check the code to add few more orders. It can be a variable with number of "maximum number of orders". This will give flexibility to chose initial lot size and the no of orders required to cover the break even.

How to you capture spike in volatility? By the help of a pattern or indicator or what?

I spent two years on catching spikes by watching screen constantly and in the process developed backpain and neckpain and gave up watching screens.
Since then, I am looking for an indicator or EA which can transmit signals by push notification or email for me to trade with big and reliable brokers.

Catching spikes is a 95% win game. But it doesn't work with retail MT4 brokers because they play against you by widening spreads and taking away profits.
I traded with Interactive Brokers (min deposit: US$10,000) and made "too good to be true" profits between 25% to 60% a month. The pair traded was GBPJPY.

I used MT4 platform and my eyes to catch signals by creating a matrix of 8 pairs - GBP connected pairs: GBPUSD, GBPEUR (using mirror function) , GBPAUD, GBPNZD, GBPCAD , GBPCHF plus USDJPY and EURJPY.

I waited for at least 4 pairs to line up in same direction to jump into probable Spike Train.

The hours were chosen Asian Hours only.

The trading was done only after news effect was gone.

As a result of doing it everyday, I developed a feel or sense for spike getting into speed gear on the basis of 2 or 3 strong pairs like USDJPY , GBPUSD and EURJPY.

But in such a case the result was 60-75% win rate.

MT5 is an ideal platform for having signals on the basis of seconds TF but visualisation will be difficult. An imitation of seconds timeframe will hide original chart and draw 1-sec candle. Internal handling of live ticks do not require seconds bars construction or non-standard time frame visualization, it is much easy as the purpose is to get alert/push/email notification,

Besides, MT5 is now compliant with trading of CME exchange regulated mini futures without fear of brokers trading against you. The volumes appearing on MT5 platfrom will be of actual futures being traded.

With the ability to have reliable volumes information, being filtered by four pairs moving in same direction, it will be easier to ride volatility spike train and make good profits.
