A/U . Low triggered (L) for the +5 but the +10 was not made as it retraced. we can short the retrace anywhere in the circled area or even if it moves Higher. This way the stop is smaller (less risk) and we can make extra points.

hi lem, i've just long the aud @75534 which is 04.00 h4 close or 08.00 open. i think it's like WZ trade. open when the price reverse to the open of the bar. and in case the bar doesn't have upper wick, so i think it will reverse to the open and at least move some pips from open to create the wick.
BTW, +pips have been grabbed

it dropped, retraced dropped. we could of made extra points. This does happen often and it can and does fail.

edit, we are only shorting because the +10 has not been made. Just trade off the Retrace. We dont know how high it will go before down again. Sometimes it will keep going up .

Hi buddy.

As a WZ (and see m5 chart for info), you would have had two options. I don't know exactly how price behaved down lower than m5 and I don't have time to go down to m1 etc to check, so I will go through both scenarios.

1:If the price broke out of the range first (below 04:00 bar Low), then you would have gone short (and got your +5).
2:If price had first gone long into the body, then you would have failed the first move and looked to counter as the opposite trigger hit (the low break).

Then...

As price came back up through the lower zone, you could have entered again long. I don't particularly like it when the candles have too small wicks, as there isn't enough room for price to breathe in the zone and you can whip back and forth till it gets its act together.

Now...the way round that is to have a directional bias - and in this case, for me (sorry, my Area 51 technology) my bias was long, so I would have ignored the initial short and waited for the reversal back up and through.

OR...wait until price has done its initial dance and entered short, as price came back down from the upper zone (you can play these zones all day long, if you want to - just remember that you enter when price leaves the zones).
