Self Evaluation-: went short as plan after market seemed to be turning down back into the Daily trend. probably a bit to keen with the consolidating yesterday to get into a trade and go against the 2 hr ROMAR trend. expecting the 2hr ROMAR to be the next support.
AH well back to the learning.

Trade finished, SL hit after 45 minutes with that spike upwards; it came out of nowhere, no news in the calendar. On the 2 hour, the 4 horsemen were in downtrend, Parabolic flipped and EMA/Purple crossed for the down with Fibo down. On Daily, the ROMAR resistance had been tested yesterday. Apparently, the Purple, White and Smooth on Daily have the power there with the Parabolic flipping upwards, so there was just some kind of ranging on the 2 hour with ROMAR being support.

SL hit. Big spike, cannot see any planned news and any world events in the news that have just happened. Could be the parabolic flip on daily gave fresh momentum and the daily bar smashed through romar resistance. Will need a more experienced traders assesment to establish.

I seriously believe the EURO is in for some seismic shocks in 2017. It will only take one of the following to bring it down: Le Pen, Wilders, Italian 10Yr Bond Yields above 7%, Trump/Malloch's Greek solution, UniCredit & Monte dei Paschi di Siena banking collapse.... to start the ball rolling. I see nothing but a slide to parity & more choppy waves to trade.

Euro is a strong resistance ... even with parity forecasts .... a rebound is physiological.

I think you will find that the small talk: jakdan/Global168 refers to socio-economical & political issues relating to the structural faults within the EURO and parity of EUR/USD.... though it would be nice if TheParadox could predict election results.

I have read Dove's post, but that Parabolic trend had ended with the flip plus EMA had crossed Purple ...

We entered almost at the same time, at that point the 1 hr and 2 hr parabolic was out of sync as it had flipped on 1hr anf I dont believe we should have pulled the trigger ... let me know of I misunderstood this.

You are right, H2 was not in sync with H1, this might have been a problem.

I also read Doves post and was really tempted to go long last night with his riddle, however he also stated one of the rules is to make your own decision and make a plan.

That's right, although the Parabolic flip is not 'locked in' as long as there is only one yellow dot. But anyway, the Daily is in a consolidation with EMA holding resistance and the Purple, White and Smooth holding support.

I admit if I didnt miss the 6am candle I would have entered as my plan, same as yours to enter short. As H1 and H2 showed a flip into short term downtrend towards Romar support. And as in consolidation we trade from resistance down and support up. Smooth white purple ema cross and parabolic flip meant you can trade against romar trend. But I guess there was a message in Doves post that at the moment not to trade short. If we dont try we dont learn!

I cannot see a problem. You had the Parabolic flipped and locked in, the EMA/Purple crossed for the down and the 4 horsemen in downtrend on both H1 and H2. And the rule is: When ROMAR is out of sync on one of the three charts, the market is in consolidation, and when the market is in consolidation you can trade both ways.

Yes, hopefully. I guess it has somehow to do with the situation on Daily but I don't know.
Alright Traders - to start with you have the H1 and H2 ROMAR in an uptrend consolidation with the Daily downtrend ROMAR. You also had the H2 SAR/DB attached on the previous candle in CONSOLIDATION with the H2 uptrend ROMAR PLUS - Divergence.

THE BIG PICTURE - back into the H2 ROMAR trend with confluence. Bottom line is seeing the the whole picture on your trading plan before pulling the trigger.
