we got the open below the spike base which initially confirmed a rejection of a previous upside auction. Initial balance is showing little conviction, B is building inside of A and if we resolve above the overnight low that will be a first sign of acceptance above it. two conflicting data points here. will be sitting on my hands till further notice. only scenario I can think of immediate-term is that B resolves as an inside period+above the overnight low and we jus balance around the IB, or the market takes a small run in whichever direction we break the inside period

update: C period bounced one tick from half back of B period, and found resistance at A period high leaving behind a poor high. weak hands at large

thinking back to a very key piece of information Lock provided me with, now that we are showing signs of a rotational environment I will ensure that any entry I take will be away from the POC

3 periods and no strong attempt to liquidate overnight inventory, so either theres weight the downside or the rotational environment is in full effect

Next visible level downside for GB is 21885: the low of an old GB minus development. Other important levels could be the lower composite poc at 2163 and the valley above it at 21995. Very elongated D period.

Note that this action occurred as a consequence of the failure above B inside period: when a break above a balance fails the next natural direction is the opposite side of it. In my opinion this action is a liquidation: the multiple poor highs left by the last sessions confirms this opinion.

I'm still learning, since applying it it has brought me more winners than losers I can say that for sure. I'm just trying to find market understanding. wouldn't call it much of a system, its the furthest thing from mechanical you could probly find lol

does one treat this situation like a overnight hi/low or previous session hi/low failure, soon as it comes back into the hi/low short at that value or just underneath

The main information here were the multiple sequence of poor highs* made by the last sessions and the short term downside. Also no acceptation above yesterday GB close level at 22635.

As written many times a poor high could me 2 different and almost opposite things: the auction upside is uncompleted (so we could aim to complete it going above the poor high) or it could mean lack of buyers. In this second case when a market is not able to find new buyers the only way is to go lower to search for them. We experienced the second meaning in this action.

Now: because the purpose of any liquidation is to adjust inventories and find new money buying, let's see how much we have to go lower in order to eventually find them.
