I am confused since the thread starter clearly states we need some kind of confirmation but can we enter based on the touch of 61-100 now?

I took the trade 15min chart was bearish on UC but big boys had more in the tank.Happens.End of the month is most times unpredictable balancing the books etc.
175% ADR on UC this is more then usual and there will be corrections.

Usually when 1 commodity pair gets hit hard rest follow. I think After tonight's GDP Aussie might be next.

With ADR @ 245% seemed to me like a high probability this pair needed to correct. Although it was way past my S100 TDI. Also gave me a Divergence...so took two positions and see what it does. Also all CADs probably start correcting.

+ Took several short yesterday on Gold and ( Closed ),Currently have one short position & buy left on but watching these areas closely.
+ Open some buy position on en pairs ( UJ,CJ,EJ).
+ Long term position still running EA, EG, Gold

Davit , yes I did get hard today in the USD/CAD spike. This spike seemed to come out of nowhere. I wasn't paying attention to Crude simply because I find that there is an intermittent connection between the two. I focus more on the DXY. I'm wondering if the market is responding to the budget news with respect to Trump's speech this evening before Congress. I'm holding put for now. Just curious to know if large buyers came into the market or were large shorts abandoned at these levels.
I live in Canada , and I cannot see Poloz raising rates.

Done for the month. Held some DD from last week but went into profit also entered at higher or lower pivot for max pips. Was patient, managed trades and made them profitable. Issue I said I would work on this week.

Holding peso buy from S38 TP R38
CADCHF buy from S200
EURCAD sell from R78 on DD Sold again on R161

Holding these but not interested on having trades open during Trump speech.

Oil has recovered most of yesterday's losses but the Canadian has not recovered against most pairs, still very weak against the USD, reflected in other pairs.

Here's an article about oil prices. Oil chart has a rectangle with the top of it on yesterday's opening price. There was a strong 30 minute engulfing bull candle bounce from S38 towards WP.

ut its oil output for a second month in February, allowing the exporter group to boost already strong compliance with agreed supply curbs on the back of a steep reduction by Saudi Arabia.
In February, supply from the 11 OPEC members with production targets under the deal has averaged 29.87 million bpd, down from a revised figure of 29.96 million bpd in January and 31.17 million bpd in December, according to the Reuters survey.
Compared with the levels the countries agreed to make the reductions from, in most cases their October output, this means the OPEC members have cut output by 1.098 million bpd of the pledged 1.164 million bpd, equating to 94 percent compliance


The Usd is strong today against most majors including yen, Euro, pound, NZD, Aussie. Allowing for the fact that oil is back up to WP, the weakness of CAD to other crosses seems excessive without other fundamental explanation.

N/U I had a pending set before I left home for a long night shift AUS time. It was nice to me. I only had small entry because I couldn't keep an eye on it.

Sorry croc, I wasn't attacking. I was just wondering about the trade triggers that were taken. Anything helps me learn more.
