This pair used to move almost like GOLD. Weird when did it lose this ability. Correlation is not always there.
However I like the pair for stable pips recently.

So has the correlation between aussie and gold vanished? Just check where both are heading atm. Trade safe and prosper.

Aud should adjust soon, aud is not only gold, but probably tonight's spike will trigger a bear impulse of 200 pips. At least thats what im hoping for considering divegences between iron, copper, gold oil and the price of aud

Indeed, nice level, it was a good level from last week really...would have preferred a break of 7648 first, but you cant have everything...good luck

Look at that volatility in the last three big swings - Im willing to bet many got whipsawed big time.

I got out of a losing short position the last time it hit 76.5, so it feels like a win, given I got out right at the bottom before it shot back to 77.

Best odds for short is at 0.772 because if u go into weekly, none of the week close above that level last year.
the next level at monthly will be 0.7656, next week close should probably be below 0.7656 or I am wrong.
One main problem is that this pairs has been defying technical gravity laws for sometime already...will try some short now , entry 0.7695 target 0.7600, sl 0.7720

There seems to be a shorting bias. at levels above 77.

I anyone looking to go long if he breaks out of the 772 resistance with the view of seeing it hit 78?

for me, the best thing is to do nothing right now...wait for either 7648 or 7731 to be breached...inside week going

I'd like to think there are better trades elsewhere, that, however, remains to be seen....

bulls still in overall control at current monthly resistance around 77.

still like 79xx area as a target unless bears show their hand

My bad, did not note of Mnuchin's interview and how he will blatantly speak about interest rates on behalf of FED.. ohh well..

just went short AUD futures @ .7732; stop loss .7742; we shall see what becomes of this.
