A:For ATR, Envelopes, Fibo has a closing mode: "Search signal on the input side with respect to MA"

may i suggest to filter with the attaching indicator... above 61.8 percent can take short and below 61.8 can take long trades

Genry, do you have any idea why I cant get to work any of your 13.9.10 sets, no trades, tried 2 brokers, spread is not the problem ?
13.8.12 with Basil sets is running fine

Which version should I take and how does this EA works?
You can use either one of them, just make sure you use the correct set files with the corresponding EA

"Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.1 m13-8-12[staxis]": Genry and Staxis - partners and develop a project on the Russian forum. Staxis significantly changed and expand Advisor. The program includes a lot of ideas with other traders in Russian forum.

Genry's will test any new ideas and suggestions in the test program, and suggest to add them in the main EA if it works well.
The test program "EA QLT RSI4Cmtf_AEe" - not Staxis original code, and was developed in 2011 for other purposes.
Genry test the ideas on this code. All additions to the main program will be added by Staхis.

Serg33 was a member of Russian branch advisor, but in February-March 2016 he expressed his own ideas with the use of pending orders.
Serg33 opened its own topic and is developed its own program code. "QLT_1.51" - this is a different project and a different code, not Staxis original code. His version of the program is highly resistant to DD and it is difficult to get a margin call.

All three programs use Quantum to generate trading signals.

Can I just use the same settings for all EA?
You cannot use the same settings for all the EA as every Expert Advisor has its own settings and cannot be used among each other. When using the set files shared on the forum please pay attention for which EA it is.

The Expert Advisor does not opens trades:
1) Do not use the default settings advisor;
2) Check the loaded history in the currency pair under test;
3) Check the Spread specified in the EA settings and spread your broker established for this currency pair.

How to use the set files?
FF Forum does not allow to post set files and therefore they are renamed to txt files. Once you downloaded the files rename them to .set files and load them in MT4.

How to share my backtest results?
Please provide the following of your backtest results:
- The Expert Adviser and the version;
- Which currency;
- In what range of testing and what was your spread;
- your initial deposit;
- Share a screen shot of your results

If an error is found, you must also provide:
- Advisor settings (set file);
- log, screen with missing signals and explanation, screen cap of the journal in MT4 and any additional information about the situation.

Will there be a MT5 version?
At the moment there is no MT5 version planned or available yet.

Thanks, I missed that one. I also think I missed a lot of the previous messages. I'll try to update them as much as possible. I also saw that you have posted some Questions and Answers. Shall I add them in the FAQ as well?

A very stupid question. How can I limit the trades to i.e. 5, I would say set the settings of "Max trades for Grid 1" to 5. Also if I wanted to change the lot size, do I change "trades 1-12" or "Mode "Fixed" volume fixed initial bid".

In short, I see that the Vassility sets are working ok, except when JPY pair goes wildly. So I thought to limit the trades with higher lot sizes to see if this kind of strategy works.

I think this can be added. I made out these posts specifically for FAQ.

here is test on AU pair from 2011 till today!!!, i can tell i never saw strategy that work for a whole year cause market always change..,so for 6 years its legend!

the strategy seems to work very good on this pair i played with the trading hours and thats gave this best resaults

in this test i started with 350usd ..

I have something to clarify the results of your test. In this embodiment, the test did not pass the entire interval of 6 years from the initial $ 350 depots.
To work on a range of 6 years, this embodiment of the EA settings require a deposit greater than the maximum drawdown of $ 1101.
In real trading broker can interfere with conditions: the account can be closed with the loss, for example, 90%.

If you set the parameter CloseAllOrdersDrawdown equal to your initial deposit, you will find the days when the amount of the initial custody was exceeded.

Otherwise, I agree with you: even with money in the $ 1111 to pass six years of trading and not to lose the deposit - an excellent result for the trading advisor.

GU 2014 till today

UCAD from 2010 till today

On Feb 9 till Feb 13 there was a long losing streak where I eventually made a big loss. It did not blew my account, but I am kind of prune to not open too many trades especially if I am not controlling it. I used the following set file: AUDJPY_8_00_Alp100_PFE_Rab_M5_. I can see from your result that it is indeed working fine and currently the EA is working ok now.

That is why I am asking how I can limit the maximum trades, which I still don't know how to set.
