EUR/USD Daily Technical Analysis

After two weaker days in the presentation of the euro, today it rose against the dollar. At the beginning of the session nothing suggested that the bulls will be able to close the session in green. The rate by opening of the session was 1.0683, and at 7:00 had pierced the support level of 1.0660. This led to a daily low at 1.0640. Then the Bulls brought the price to a high of 1.0713. After a little hesitant movements, the day was closed with rise of the euro to 1.0697.

Key levels to watch for:
Support: 1.0660; 1.05500;
Resistance: 1.0800; 1.0950.

The EUR/USD remains withing the recent and today also couldn’t hold above 1.0700.

Yesterday the euro retreated against the US dollar and closed at 1.0654. Currently the EUR/USD pair is testing the 1.0650 level and continues the bearish consolidation phase.

The EUR/USD pair closer lower last week in correction mode. In case of continuation of the downwad trend, we may expect break of the support line at 1.0550.

The EUR/USD pair broke below the bullish channel and the 200-day SMA. Further downward pressure might be increased in case of crossing below yesterday’s low at 1.0590.

EUR/USD is trading lower, having bottomed yesterday at 1.0560 and closing at 1.0577. The pair is vulnerable to the downside with first support seen at 1.0550. In case of breakdown next bears target is 1.0511.

Yesterday the EUR/USD pair marked close to five-week fow at 1.0520 but found enough strength to bounce off back to 1.0600 area. Immediate resistance is seen at 1.0640 and fisrt support is located at 1.0575.

Yesterday the EUR/USD rallied and marked best performance since late January . The pair added 74 pips and closed at 1.0673. In the short-term bulls are in play and aiming 1.0675.

The euro was down against the US Dollar on Friday. By the closing of US trading EUR/USD was trading at 1.0615, shedding 0.55%. I believe that the support is now located at the level of 1.0520, Wednesday's low and resistance is at the level of 1.0682 - maximum of Thursday.

The British pound fell against the dollar on Friday. By the closing of US trading GBP/USD was trading at 1.2410, shedding 0.64%. I believe that the support is now located at the level of 1.2379, Wednesday's low and resistance is likely at the level of 1.2550 - a maximum of Tuesday.

Next week there will be FOMC minutes, so pound may continue falling to 1.2346, followed by 1.2252.

The EUR/USD started the new week trading within tight range. The lack of significant macro data today also impacted. Technical indicators have turned from neutral to bearish and the risk towards the downside remains in tact.

EUR/USD was indecisive yesterday. Price traded lower earlier this morning, reaching 1.0576. The bias is bearish for testing the 1.0520/00 area, which seems a good place to place long position with tight stop losses. Resistance for the day is 1.0600/20, whose breakthrough could lead price to neutral trading zone for testing important 1.0680 level. On the downside, a clear break and daily close below 1.0520/00 would have to open the door to 1.0400 - 1.0350. Overall I am still neutral.

EUR/USD crossed to below the 1.06 mark which now is acting as an intraday resistance. The pair is currently trading at 1.0534 and next bears target is seen at 1.0500 area.

EUR/USD continued the downward slope and yesterday tested the key support at 1.0520. The lack of important news this week maintained the sideways course of the pair. But todya we have FOMC minutes and this might set more clear direction for the pair.

EUR/USD bounced off the lows yesterday, following the release of FOMC minutes. In the early session today the pair marked a daily high at 1.0572. Minor resistance is seen at 1.0585 and a key one remains the psychological level at 1.0600. The intraday support is located at 1.0500 and lower at 1.0493 (yesterday’s low).

The EUR/USD pair recovered from Tuesday’s lows but yet is unbale to conquer key levels. In the 4 hour chart tehcnical indicators show limited bullish pressure. The price is lightly above the bearish 20-day SMA, while RSI and momentum are aroud their mid-lines, but has lost upward strength.

The euro recorded minor increase against the dollar on Thursday. The session was very volatile, but ultimately the single currency was stronger. A break of key levels was not reached, but if the Bulls continue to prevail, the pair will test the resistance at 1.0679.
