Hi Harold, I get confused with 2Bs could this be a possible small 2B? I'm thinking of taking this trade because it pierced the RTH VWAP

Last day in beautiful mountains.... for the first time ever, trading just 55 mins every afternoon for only 3 days, I have covered the entire cost of the trip (I'd give you some stats, but I've just closed NinjaTrader and on Fridays it automatically runs a backup, presently in progress). Slow & steady wins the race.

A little Alpine story from this afternoon : I am here for the first time with my dog, Lady, and today is her 8th birthday (photo coming up from earlier this week...) :

So today my sister and I hiked up to this very traditional mountain restaurant for a late lunch; there was a large English-speaking family there and the teenage kids came over to stroke Lady; when told it was her birthday, they - mother & father included - all started singing "Happy Birthday, dear Lady... etc"

The mother was Helena Bonham-Carter (The Red Queen, Bellatrix Lestrange, etc etc etc), the father, director Tim Burton (just Google him).

Ah, well, Hollywood A-listers ... just another day in the life of a lowly trader.... ;-)

For all the abundance in the US, I have always felt that the one thing my Americans friends very rarely do well is vacations : too few and too short.

Absolutely agree with JT above, the 'had your order placed' was spot on in my book, just didn't connect. Move onto the next one.

Thanks jtrade. I agree, I think posting my charts is a good thing for me. I need to be held accountable for my trades. So, good or bad I will continue to post my charts. I am really not a forum guy. I have looked at a couple, but never participated or adopted the trading style. But there was something about this one. Feels like a real good group here. And of course our fearless leader, Div. is fantastic. I appreciate you all.
And congrats jtrade on the great trading.
Lady is a beautiful dog. I think she had a very nice birthday. I wish I had a dog. One dog that is, because I have 4. And they are great!

Thanks for the simple and effective approach to trading the NQ. You make look rather easy.
Question - do you always take a 123 (or 2B) setup with the trend? And under what circumstances will you forego a valid setup? I am amazed at some of your trades. And thanks for the videos.

I use 123s that price breaks point 2 as a confirmation of a trend change then I trade the pullback for the new trend

Hi Div!

Can I please pick your brain on the image below? It refers to your trading session on 01/24/2017. You've mentioned as well as pinpoint during the video the exact candles that are counted as a 1, a 2, a 3, and a 4 (which is the minimum number of candles required for a 123) and I've also drawn an arrow and numbered each said candle. May I ask for the reason behind why each candle was qualified as part of the four minimum candle requirement for a valid 123 setup?

first candle made low the next candle took out high that's 2 candles the third candle took out the second candles high that's 3 candles the next 2 candles made LL
