That's a tricky one sisse.

R:R is better for the first one and has less to lose on STop. But it goes against the Outlook.

Second one is In the direction of Outlook but maybe not short term now. However, bigger stop and loss for less R:R.

But, I am not understanding this market right now. Dollar should be stronger regardless w Prob Fed hikes as we trade expectations for March and not the facts along w strong US data. But, it is taking a backseat again.

I am Short on this trade from previous week already and prob will get get stopped out but I will sit thru it.

My gut says I should sit tight but logically the Long has the better R:R and could be right for the next few weeks.

I can't go against the outlook since it has not changed for now and will say Short. I just don't like that much of a stop.

880 is a more sensible stop from TA perspective. Perhaps this iteration will show how the area is not a good place for entry. Bad rr for the sensible stop and direction, wrong direction for good rr and decent stop, etc. Can't check all the boxes here.

risk is everything , path of least resistance comes with direction which is becoming more clear lately with the resiliance of euro* to fall and us dollar to catch a bid .

it is crunsh time for euro bears after this large scale positionning if they are really willing to explore lvls under 1.050x else the risk is better to the upside.

630 is a tough spot for a stop loss

not really , it is more clear on H4 .064x is where price action plays the rejection so a little bit lower is a nice spot .

Still believe in the short side fundy wise. The political BS seem to be making it choppy. Unless the BS becomes fact.

I would like a sell stop iteration for levels under 1.061x . Sisse already said that it would be a clean sweep the next time we visit the 1.05xx handle. becoming a lost cause as time passes by .

I agree with your insight hoom. That's why this is so confusing for me.

A 40 pip stop for the long? That's not a natural stop so am wondering if there is a trick into it despite the better r:r.

I am so hoping I am wrong and staying w Outlook prevails. But, Eu is having a harder time to go down at these levels as opposed to up.
