Yeah, I think he will need to get this under control or he will be compromised. I think he actually might have some enemies far more powerful than the democrats.

Think you're right J. Fortunately, I think he has placed people in the cabinet that are use to this type of battle. Ive kept up with Sessions, and "mad dog" for years and know these folks hard as they come. It is going to be a hard long battle, though. Establishment ain't gonna give up power easily.

I had a feeling it would be rejected as there is a law already in place, but the problem is the militant leftie teachers are all ignoring it and no one is taking them to task. What I want to say is simply that if you're a teacher and you indoctrinate kids with your own biased views, you're sacked. Maybe someone else would like to have a go? If there are enough signatures you will get invited to speak to ministers, so better one of you than me eh?

Maybe I am being cynical, but I have this feeling that just won't go away. Although we have Brexit (or perhaps I shouldn't be counting chickens), we are still very much ruled by the Establishment. Maybe Brexit is just a hiccup to them in the grand scheme. Is that why they will not act in preventing another generation of snowflakes, because that is what the aim actually is? Seeing it from ground level, meeting with unsurmountable obstacles, that is what it certainly seems. I have written to the MP, and the reply was deal with the headteacher; trying to set up that petition, I got the same response from the Government. Well I know exactly what will happen talking to the headteacher, denial and sweet FA. And she will accuse the children of making it all up.

One thing I think that the left might have got correct is that May is an appeaser. Has she really any conviction? I am not convinced; it wasn't that long ago she was a remainer. That might have been politics, but she did not stick her neck out. Would she be so bullish about Brexit if Hillary had won and wanted open borders throughout the northern hemisphere? Now she goes holding Trump's hand. The only one I trust is Nigel.

The UK is not free. It is a police state with a democratic veneer. However ... and I hope for this a lot ... the damage done by the likes of Tony Blair could be undone over time.

May is a smart cookie. I don't know if she believed in Remain or whether she was toeing the party line. As a front bench politician she would have to be careful. She has also embraced the will of the people it seems. Time will tell whether she has the mettle.

edit: Nigel is not a leader, he is a cage-rattler. I believe his heart is in the right place.

She could be toeing the line EX but we don't need fence sitters, anyone that blows in the wind. This is really the essence of how we have got to where we are. Years of U-turns, being voted in on certain policies then breaking them. This is the abuse people are cheesed off with. Regardless of allegiance people just want them all to stick to their guns on whatever issue they are passionate about.

I like Nigel but even he I think is softening and mainly due to the fact that he realises the events which are necessary are hard line and why put himself out there and say it when he doesn't have office to do anything about it. Credit though he definitely did the spade work. The longer it goes on the more radical the solution needs to be.

No, openly I am very low key. I don't show my cards. The last thing I want to do is rock the boat for my kids. I smile nicely and keep everything pleasant. But at home, my kids know... we talk a lot. I have two little capitalists.

It's not about me. I don't see how confronting the Head Teacher and having it out with her will help my kids, nor running to the press, but the potential is there to do a lot of damage. These people have my kids over 6 hours a day and I have to keep things sweet.

Some say we are headed towards a second civil war. My concern is that maybe this is what the real powers want. The Trump and Russia noose seems to be tightening. It hurt that Flynn had to go. This is why I think that Trump really was an outsider. I hope it is fake news that he is not getting along with the FBI and CIA. If it is not, there is another President who did not get along with intelligence either. I will leave you to figure out who that was.

Yeah I understand Jen. It's a tough call, you want the best outcome for your kids. All I can do is share my experience of what I did, luckily in my case the head teacher was enough, I didn't need to approach press. I'm sure you will find a way.
