I have also one question, when I decide to enter a trade most of the time it will face some structure in the way that does not give me a good room to protect my trade, but sometimes price pass them and ignore them and continue in direction of the trade , how to filter which one we can trade toward and which one not , as always will be one in front of our trade specially if we look back in history

Ok, will ensure to include from now.

Expectation of a mid range new structure low. NSL prediction based on structure analysis telling me we are in a downtrend, mid range because Projection was good but momentum not that strong, compared to the most recent swings.

I'll include the trend lines on charts from now on too so it is easy to tell the swings that I am basing my analysis on

bears losing serious strength, strong support below, stop to breakeven

I'm looking to switch to longs in the completion area below...

Longer term we are coming to an area of support and the longer term expectation is still for a NSH but the short term order flow (intraday) is very strong so I'm still looking for shorts despite the are of support. If the bears start to weaken and short term aligns with longer term then I think it's safe to trade up again.

Longer term OF is up, short term OF is strengthening to the downside as price is retracing on the bigger swing.
I'd like to sell if price makes it up to the marked rectangle (higher one). It's the first change in expectation so I think a deep retrace is possible but with this strength maybe not likely?

Looks like sellers are not done yet

I'm only looking for sells here, around completion of yellow 1:1 or first redzone assuming this swing down is done. Agree longer term expectation remains NSH but immediate order flow has turned bearish with this NSL, note a 1:1 completion of greenarrow would take us nicely into 61 of longer term upswing

NSH has been achieved so we are thinking long. Currently we are in a correction to the downside. ABCD completes at 580 area. Doesn't really say much for bulls as that would give a back 100% of volume to the bears. So it would be unlikely we get NSH maybe a retest of high we will see. We are at SR-SD zone though. What I would like to see is a break and hold at 606 but structure is in the way

I feel that that last part was due to one post i mentioned. I need to explain myself better: of course putting trades to fire and forget is not my goal. I am from 7:00 am UTC to more or less 23:00 UTC in front of my computer. Only intervals I do is "bare minimum " so the wife not divorce me and walk my loving german shepherd

But why did I said a post like that ? Well, it comes with two reasons that I sometimes observe in the market:

1: often market turns at specific points of a really really long term. For example, market turns from bear to bull at low of a year ago or something. ( thinking recently at EURUSD at 1.03/4 if I remember correctly, also some stocks ( I do have a really great memory for high and lows of stocks, dunno why ) i remember in last year touching the same low and reversing with 6 months appart.

2: sometimes ... it kinda helps to fire and forget. Its not that fire and forget is good, but sometimes i cannot keep cool and rational like you do. sometimes, better is just to walk away.

The second point, I am working on it To the first point, I am doing with alerts and drawings on chart. ( before i started reading this thread, I would have 2/3 timeframes visible: the tradable timeframe, one smaller and one larger by 4X/6X, ex: M15, M60 tradable, M240). Now I only have one timeframe ( like you told to do ).

I really appreciate what you are doing and its really great. You are doing it for free but even if you were getting paid here to do this, It would still be great, because there are alot of professionals getting payed to teach that don't put in half of the effort you do.

I am also putting alot of effort on learning your way, not because I think you are god and have found the holy grail, but because it makes sense to me. there are alot of ways to be profitable on the market, but i have found, that i have to find a way that makes sense to me and goes with my personality or way i want to trade.

I am at the stage that sometimes the market moves exactly like expected, almost to the pip sometimes, contrasted to lots of times that I am really clueless.

I do hope that I get the point across that I really appreciate what you are doing, and am putting the work on my side also. I don't share much here, because although I do get some very good trades, I am also having bad ones that just make me wonder "what was I thinking ?".

Improvements in my trading because of you, Mr. Pip:
* Check fib retreacements and expentions so to not enter or exit when it doesnt make sense or isnt a proper zone for it.
* More aligned with zones of support and resistance as being structure: not a value but a zone
* Look at PA as a method to see strength/weakness, not as in "its green , lets go up"
* Can't explain why but shorter term noise started to make sense. I can see where shorter term corrections start and end.
* Not every M or W is a harmonic pattern
* Came from a community where calling other people with different ideas "losers, idiots" were the talk of every day. The market does what it does and nobody knows what It will do. All one can do it do the reasonable thing.
* Probably most important: I dont have a feeling of missing out anymore. I know that there are alot of signals/trades throughout the day, trends and corrections, its just a matter of picking the right timeframe. I did suffer from "missing out" syndrome before. ( this was achieved after observing how many times you stop trading to do other stuff with no problem whatsoever ).

I waited so long for this entry... and this entry came but it was so expensive that i did not take it.



It's interesting. The downswing packed so much strength. Then it suddenly fizzle out. Could this be the start of a change in expectations?

This may be bad advice, since I am not very good at this still, and you are trading a shorter timeframe than me, but my thoughts on usdjpy are:

It does seem to be losing strength ( the fib targets converge to that area ) and there is a long term structure there with 0.86 fib ( so small stop loss ). But momentum and expectation is on bear side. I would not short on this zone, but I would need a big show of strength by the bulls ( like Mr. PIP taught ) ( like EURUSD yesterday did ).

I'm looking for longs now since strong bull rotation at established support. bears have tried and failed to take price lower, expectation of NSH now aligned with longer term. I didn't like the RR on that big ass bull candle will look to enter on a pullback

AUDUSD 5m short from the rotation candle.
I'm not sure about the strength of the bulls, they look a bit strong but compared to the move down, it took them many more candles to get up there.


EDIT: got out at BE after price corrected 100% with strength
