It used to be the preserve of aspiring "Beauty Queens", who all wanted to work with disadvantaged children and you knew the minute it left their lips it was all just BS.

Edit... Anything to raise the profile of their own existence. Just like Geldoff etc. Have they filled the west wing of the city dwellings with refugees yet ?

I don't doubt it Jim just making point they can't afford to have that naivety. This administration will likely be scrutinised like no other and regardless of the misdemeanors of the outgoing crew would think Trump wants to keep it tight as possible and give them little opportunity to discredit him.

As near as I can tell, it was all Flynn's decision. I don't think Trump or Pence put pressure on him. We've never had the quality of people serving as we have now. Y'all see some of the crap being thrown at the Trumps -- you wouldn't believe all the little stuff. And it makes their heads spin that Trump laughs at them or does a end run! Incidentally, Trump is exceeding loyal to his people and demands loyalty in return -- makings of a great commander - in - chief.

I should add, I hope there are no establishment plants to infiltrate and orchestrate his demise as if he is the real deal they will be relentless in the persuit of his downfall.

That's a story you don't hear. Trump administration busy cleaning the libs out, particularly the justice and state depts. He has shut down statements coming from the environmental dept. He has frozen federal hiring, military being exception. Sure same is true there -- you have to know where to go to get accurate news. Trump seems to have a backbone of carbon steel. He has indicated it is going to take a few years to get our mess straightened out -- let's get started. Once he gets all his cabinet members up and running you will see establishment lose it even more. Fun to watch!

They seem to forget that it is us who ultimately pay their wages. That can very easily change. Like I don't buy anything Virgin anymore.

Her stance should be unequivocally no to Sharia in any way, shape or form. We have a legal system and everyone should be bound by that.
She has spoken out in the past about immigration but on the whole I think she is fighting against herself. She was a remainer and all that came with it. We need a government in place who is not afraid to be nationalistic with appeasement firmly off the agenda.

There are over 100 Sharia Courts in the UK, dispensing rulings contradicting UK Common Law. http://www.billionbibles.org/sharia/uk-sharia-law.html
In 2003 there were 53 full time Muslim schools in the UK. In 2007, there were 126, according to the Department of Education and Skills. Take a guess the number in 2017?

I don't know in all honesty but it won't make pleasant reading no doubt. You are preaching to the converted here, my own vigil is almost 30 years now.

About 10-12 years ago, I remember sitting in a restaurant and watched in disbelief a group of about 20 men enter and sit down. Then 20 minutes later a large group of women and children did the same. The women were all in Islamic dress, but then, I had no clue! It's only been in the last 5 years or so that I think I clocked on. Now if I drive to certain towns or through East London, they are everywhere. You get the true picture when you speak to ex pats.

Jen it's like in trading when you see certain anomalies you can't unsee them. I emigrated to Australia 2007/2008 but had to return for reasons too long winded for here but essentially I went on the basis of larger surface area, less people but I can tell you in terms of what we see, it's happening just the same there. I drove from Brisbane to Perth and there wasn't a large town or city that I came across with anything in this respect different to here.

Edit: Weather was another reason !!

I find France much better. Banning the burqa makes a big difference. Also the attitudes.

Stu, Europe is afraid to be nationalistic because the last time that happened Europe was destroyed. That is how we became a superpower. We suffered no damage to our infrastructure during that time.
