WHY WAS MY POST (2116) CoC'd???!!! Should I not be telling what life is like for the ordinary citizen in the UK, that all our services are at breaking point because of immigration, why we can't look after our elderly, why we voted Brexit? All facts, all verifiable.

Of course under Sharia Law there is no freedom of speech especially for women. Tell me FF, do you allow gays here?!? Strange that most of your members are no more than gamblers. Is gambling ok?

Is it the FACTS about Muslims that's the problem? Ok, I will paste it here again minus the FACTS about Muslims.

I know you are trying to understand more about life here and under the EU in particular. Let me tell you a bit then about what it is like for the average person in the UK. Things have changed drastically in the last 10 years or so. Ex pats no longer recognise this place. I am embarrassed at the way things are now; just driving around (if you can, because the roads are so gridlocked), you will see every grass verge lining the motorways and dual carriageways covered in litter. Now littering is just one of those things you don't do - it's like you don't rob old ladies; that's our culture and values. But it's not us doing it. You will see that everywhere, British values being diluted and in some parts, you will not recognise as the UK. You will think that you are in Islamabad with bad weather.

Services are all at breaking point. We are proud of our NHS; it is a national treasure. It was formed after WW2 when it was deemed that no one should have to suffer unnecessarily and have access to health care. It made individuals free to pursue their lives' goals without worry of not being able to afford care; it was the original freer and fairer society. Now, the NHS is a monster that has been thoroughly abused. It is the world's fifth largest employer, yet we only have 0.5% of the world's population. Over 50% employed by the NHS are not clinically qualified. It is routinely fleeced by suppliers. We lose 2 billion a year to health tourism. It is the International Health Service.

It is on the verge of collapse. Scheduled operations are being cancelled due to a shortage of beds. The elderly are dying in hospital corridors. Bear in mind that some of these people fought in the war and gave us our freedom we take for granted today. Now, this is how we treat them at the end of their days, in their hour of need. We can't even give them a little dignity.

Good school places are like gold dust. All schools in the South East are overflowing and struggling to cope and much of it is due to many kids not being able to speak English. There are over 300 languages being spoken in British schools and in some places, English is the minority language. So, if your child was in such a school, would you be happy? Do you think they will be able to thrive? Talking of all these languages, in the last three years the NHS spent 64.4 million on translators. That's 59k a day. The police spends 100 million a year on translators for these immigrants too.

In the north east, the fishing industry was all but decimated by the EU. What were once thriving ports are now ghost towns with generations of livelihoods ended. There were many people hugely affected and when given the opportunity to right the injustice by way of Brexit, it was the start of an uprising, ironically in the swathes of the working class of the Labour heartlands.

Many roads are like car parks. 10 years ago, if you drove on the M25 (London orbital) at 5am, you knew you could maintain a fairly decent speed and get to your destination on time. Now it is pure gridlock 24/7. The population of London is almost 10 million, the official population of the UK is about 60 million, though it is probably knocking on 80 million. Most of these people live in the south east. I was born in London and lived most of my life in London and southern home counties, but moved away a few years ago because it is just so overcrowded. Luckily these days I have no need to be close to London and am moving further and further away (not north though, I'm allergic to cold!) Luckily there are still parts of the UK untouched by the effects of mass globalisation, still quintessentially England. We are the little Englanders who were so sneered upon by Cameron during the Brexit campaign, who were preached to by Obama looking down his supercilious nose at us as though we were petulant children not knowing what we were talking about and the likes of Branson castigating us. We had a big telling off from Project Fear, supposedly trying to shake us out of our tantrum and make us see sense. We were called racist and xenophobic for not wanting open borders.

But they all missed the gaping point. We simply wanted our country back. We didn't want to be paying more and more for less and less.

Jen there was another thread like this one some years ago. Eventually they shut the entire thread down. FF is very sensitive about calling out specific groups. The last thread highlighted issues between Palestine and Israel. If the are CoCing your posts please be careful. I know are trying to help us yanks see what might be coming our way. It would a long time for us to see it too because our country is nearly empty.

The population of London is bigger than all of our Great Plains states combined.

Jmn, the whole point of this thread is that we tell the truth. We have our freedom in the west to question and challenge. We are lucky to have that so we shouldn't be bullied into keeping quiet just because the truth gets uncomfortable for some. Millions were brave enough to fight for our freedoms and gave their lives, so I for one am not going to shy away from a little conflict.

Trump can see what is happening here. He is spot on. He is a visionary. I wish we could have a leader like him. Do you see how they are getting tough in Hungary? Wow, they make Trump look like a pussy cat.

I thought the names were interchangable. Classical Liberal or Constitutional Conservative seems to fit me. Every test I ever take says I am a libertarian.

My grandfather was chief engineer on a trawler that used to operate out of Grimsby. Worked all his life until he was 70. Now there is no fishing industry in Grimsby, AFAIK.

I smile to myself over this. I hope they feel really small. Of course we don't know the whole outcome yet, but you are right ... we just wanted our country back.

If we are free to debate Tory, Labour, UKIP, Democrats or Republicans and offer our forthright opinion on any of these, why is the supposed religion of peace any different. It is both religious and political in its doctrine and should be as freely scrutinised, as any other political following
