Trading against an expectation is not greedy. There has to be a case to doing so but it is not greed. I trade against expectations from time to time.

I didn't have issues getting entries in FX either but the Futures market offers a much more professional trading environment with way better range.

I managed to get through the short video without much coughing. I wanted to make it to address the charts posted over the weekend and another one as well as a recap of my session today. Thank you for the explanation. I'm truly overwhelmed by how much information you have extracted from the charts.

Two important lessons implied:

1) Put ourselves in another's shoes. If we want to buy, then we better think what the sellers would want to do.

2) Bar by Bar the whole chart! It's pretty difficult for me to do that now. I need about 5 sec to analyze each bar. Hope I can improve on this.

By the way, to the other readers out there, the YELLOW HORIZONTAL LINES are support resistance levels. They were drawn ages past.. weeks before. And price keep respecting the zones so I never erase those lines after drawing.

out at 1+ pips . hit my breakeven, Its not as per rule the trade as expectation is NSH . and i believe butterfly pattern will fail

So if we look at the different order flow scales, it becomes a bit clearer:

Complex correction until longer term OF continues up again?
But looking at a 5m chart, looks like the bears are accumulating volume?
Any idea or advice how to handle this complex market conditions to avoid stringing a few losses?

Dear JuriFX, Ived posted this before but im glad to post it again hope it will help :
One tips i noticed someone can correct me too, most welcome :

They will be lot of swing to trade, we don’t confuse our self which one to choose , here is the best check list i found:

1- Clear NSH / NSL any size of pips is ok since it meet the rest criteria’s
2- signal to be ready to enter: fib level that meet swing depth and hit fib level + structure
3- Entry : Good RR (not just 2:1 or 3:1,,,,ect but most important the price when it hit first structure you can move to breakeven and still some good space price will move in your favour not hitting your breakeven quick
{C}1- Price has good movement at that trading sessions that will reach your target and not keep it till next day as you will not be able to trail it in case you went out of your trading station

Your condition looks a bit similar to mine,

But my bears are strong at the complex correction area.

Your bears appears weaker as retracement from the clear swing is about 55% only. (mine was over 100%!)

Wait till Damian comes online for his advise.

Thank you for clarifying your first long trade. I was already asking myself about a reason to go long there. Now, I understand it better.

I thought that your trade plan foresee to enter a trade against longer term expectation not only a break down in the second leg but also a PA confirmation. Maybe, I am wrong.
