Maybe you should specify which asset class you prefer. For some of them I have seen a max. ticket lot size way above 100 lots. Strictly depends on the broker though.

Why? Futures annoy me a little with all the fees. Platform fees, data fees, clearing fees, brokerage commissions..

For trading Futures, (where I started from), these are the fees you can't avoid, as most of the brokers are passing the costs from Exchange to US(Retail Investor), unless we generate huge amount of volume every month for the brokers, otherwise, forget about getting these fee out of your way.
It's the safer way to trade Margin, but need to be knowledgeable otherwise you may be trading on a "Physical Settlement" Contract.
It is high in risk too, but Exchange has built a Limit for each session, so we won't see any issue like SNB unpegging EURCHF, and GBP Flash Crash issue happening in Futures Market.
