Counter trend trading. when market makes its move on the day. you can look for this setup usually around end of US session and London session...
Your shorting at C, when you get bearish candle, and looking for a move similar to the length of A-B.
The guppies help you see exhaustion and then C-D becomes very probable when A-B move occurs.
Do not confuse this with the trend trade..

Very good explanation.
Generally, when we have D, there's a good opportunity, with a take profit on B, like on NZD usd ....
On the chart we can see bollinger band 20-2. A very safe TP is mva 20....and it's the level of B
Dax only.

Ok last chart for the day, I feel Guppies helps with patterns like this, but this pattern is one of the most common, Double top pattern.. But there are certain things that I look for to add probability and there are hidden stuff in the guppies..
This Trade ON GBPJPY... The entry should be as shown on the close of that 5Min bar. Stop loss above the candle's
Picture to illustrate clearly what is being traded.
Last tip: make the 3 EMA a different colour- a distinct colour to see this better and so it stands out from different moving averages .
