Thank you Almo. Overall today I was able to come out profitable due to the good risk to reward. The losses I did experience would have been substantially less using the CCI filter you have generously shared. Tomorrow I intend to implement your template throughout the NY session.

I created this simple indicator with the ALMO rule for the 1 minute chart.

LOL...FYI this a new strategy that we are still testing so please dont trade with real money this strategy until we have extensively tested it and proven that it will be profitable in the long run..For now trade in your demo account.We are all here to learn and grow so be patient and disciplined whiles we do that.

first focus on the one minute time frame,looks like its more accurate (at the AU short trade there were no true signal on the one minute time frame)

while on the 5min time frame there were true short signal and so far its on loose mode.

Welcome on board lokopata..Wow! lokopata...I was thinking of an indicator like and fortunately you have already created an indicator .And I noticed that we can go back in time and backtest your indicator which is nice.That way we can know how the signals performed in the past.This is even getting better....Thank you for your valuable contribution..This are the kind of contributions we need on this thread..Keep it up buddy..We are here to learn and grow..But tell us how this indicator works and whether it repaints or not because repaint indicators are not good especially for newbies.

Yes for now we are still using 20 pips stop loss until we find a better alternative..You can experiment with other stop loss options like swings high and low , support and resistance , ATR etc..Experiment and find the one that works best for you..

Hey guys I put the CCI indicator on Gold(XAU/USD) Chart and look at what happened to gold yesterday after 365/200 EMA cross following a sell signal from the CCI indicator...100pips move just like that.I am loving this CCI indicator already..Helps to filter out a lot of false signals leaving us with the good ones to trade..

Good observation Scrambleguy.I have also observed that sometimes price is far away from the moving averages when Almo CCI sends a signal and this can lead to premature stop out if we enter a position immediately without waiting for a pullback.To curb this , I suggest we wait for a pullback of price to the moving averages after receiving a signal from the CCI indicator before we enter a position..What is your take on this?
