Eur 5min

Price dropped at 78.6 and 161.8 confluence and top of the median line. Lets see if any retrace can happen for entry on the large drop down.

There is definitely buyers and interest at this level of 850 as you remember I pointed it out prior to the open as a bevel that the bulls needed to get past and the bears needing to defend. This is what is happening now. Can the bulls get to the area of interest. RR is not good to short here and the expectation is a NSH so have to be patient.

Harmonically speaking we have XA, AB of a Gartley at the moment or ABC of an ABCD the bulls look too shitty to take the aggressive C buy

I can't justify getting short before 850 as we are close to better buying territory. I may consider a long in the teens. We will see what price tells us other then the both are committed to stopping with other. Imbalance would probably favor the bears but we still see buying interest.

Yeah this pa sucks.

Took a long off the open and closed out for 10 when I saw it reversing. Didn't let it run, and also chickened out of the short. Was expecting a more harsh rejection and price held up there for a while so passed over on the opp.

Oh well. Prob done for day.

Yes at least the pre market assessment was pretty dead on. Now I just need for price to climb so I can look for the short. Watching the grass grow right now

ABCD complex correction to the down side complete but I don't feel the bulls have what it takes. I will continue on the sidelines looking for a short opportunity.

Will waiting for the bulls to come in and see if I can position a short. It sucks because price is respecting immediate structure. I am interested in the lower oval.

I said earlier that I might be interested in a long in the teens and price did hit 18 but not impressed at all with what the bulls are doing. That if any is the place to buy though.

You see how have the pulse of the market and understanding the context or framework helps you understand where the opportunities are. I mentioned buying opportunity in the teens and that is where price started climbing. Now granted I did not take the trade because I looking for a short not a long. But we must always have that important situational awareness and who needs to defend what.

Well again some days are like this. I could not take that short as I would be trading right into where the buyer are likely to defend.

No trades but hopefully today was a great learning experience for those reading along. Even if there is not much movement we still have to continuously read price and understand where the danger is so that we don't enter a low probability setup even if you are swimming with the current.

Look at what price is doing now. Staying ahead of price is a great way to develop that situational awareness that is very important.
