EURUSD This daily area looks weird to me. Thoughts? I'm taking the 4 hour are for shorts instead. Screenshot2.png;2138197 Here is the 4 hour zone I'm waiting for. Screenshot3.png;2138204 {image} {image}

Hello GravyBoatBob, may I ask what is the name of tool that you use to draw zones? Looks nice.

Thank you sir! At least I am starting to identify the zones fairly accurate. It would be difficult to long GBP right now, although many seem to be moving close demand zones. Normally GbpCad, would be one to really take a look at, if one were look long. It is about the process right now, and to finally put a chart or two out for discussion, to find my mistakes.

Thank you for your help,
Scott

Hello Heelfan23
Keep up that attitude and it won't be long before you get really good at this sir.

As you rightly said, "it is always about the process". Great words.

We are better invested in process not outcomes. That's what my guys have learned.

We follow the process because that is what is in our hands to control. Outcomes are not in our hands so we don't bother about them.

As has been said, A lion did not become the best predator because it likes eating prey and is fierce, it is because it is the best at the hunt, the process.

Keep up the good work Heelfan23.

best wishes

I would agree that on the daily that it neither removes a trendline nor an opposing zone, but on the 4HR it certainly does remove the dotted yellow trend/momo line:

Hello GravyBoatBob.

Ahh, here is the thing, the outcome of the short is not what decides whether or not it is a zone you see.
It is your rules for identifying what constitutes a zone.

Remember the title of the thread, "trading institutional order flow"...that wick due to its size etc does not constitute order flow, at least not according to
the rules espoused here as to what constitutes order flow.

Thanks AKT for taking the time to share. I appreciated your video...very helpful. You picked areas that I need to work on very well. 1.supply/demand zone identification. 2. Areas qualification. Hope when you have time you will do more videos to show our areas of inadequacy. Thanks a lot again on your decision to start this thread. It is really a new year gift for me.

Hi Akt, I am just looking at AudUsd and am wondering about your view.
I am using D1 for curve, H4 for momuntum and M15 for execution.

I am waiting for price to reach D1 Supply Zone before looking for H4 momentum to turn bearish and then look for shorts in M15 ...

Please let me know your thoughts ...

Hi Akt, also I was wondering about the confirmation of break in momentum.

In the case of the M15 chart below, which bar is confirmation of the break of momentum?

Very interesting pair to not have a demand below, I'm very curious as to how this would play out and when the reversal would kick in, looking at correlating pairs GBP/AUD, it's moving towards a strong weekly supply zone for a potential reversal, wonder if the reversal would occur at the similar time.

I'll add: probably won't be a pair I'd be taking without a clear zone.

no problem and answering to your question regarding the trendline breaking - it is broken as soon as the hole candle is above (down trendline) or below (up trendline) and the hole candle means including the high and the low (all the wicks), every tick of the candle must be above/below the trendline - then it is broken.
