The top 3000 pay the same tax as the bottom 9 million. What is the top threshold? 100k? That's not much, just middle earners. So the 3000 piss off and a lot more. As they're senior execs they take the office with them, sack everyone here and hire elsewhere. The bottom 9 million will be out of work. Corporation tax will grind to nothing.

Then what? Showing such disdain for the hand that feeds you can't happen anywhere else; certainly not in the animal kingdom. Why do I keep hearing how bright, intelligent and well educated the left are?

Light travels in straight lines. So in order to achieve as you say, you would have to bounce around a lot inside a greasy ring.

The guy doesn't seem to understand that if you jacked up tax, or put an earnings cap on wages, people will change their behavior to mitigate the impact of those rules.

This is typical of the socialists were ideology is more important than anything else. More important than practicality. More important than the people they are trying help because it is clear this policy would produce results exactly the opposite of what is intended.

I have a mate who believes part of the 'lefts' strategy is to create a enough people dependent on the government to ensure they always remain in power. I think maybe that is giving them too much credit, but certainly there is a moral hazard there.

it sounds a bit paranoid but I often think this too why else would they want unproductive migrations particularly from the commonwealth we lost money from it so they must have a agenda/end goal

Also ... they have proved that gravity affects light although I'm not sure that they didn't just prove that the atmosphere of a star can bend light as our own atmosphere does.

Actually, it was the Physics department, xxxx College, University of London.

Light will travel in a straight line in flat space and time, unless it hits another force or medium, such as a gravitational field or as you say a triangular prism. In curved space-time it travels a path called a geodesic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geodesics_in_general_relativity

Does anybody here know who "The Fool" is? He started to ignore me and I don't know why. I never had any interaction with him or her, so was it something I said? I am confused.

heres a true story about the (the fool) and me growing up in the West Coast USA, United States we were the best of friend in fact we were inseparable well that's what our mums would say until he got massive self doubt about himself after he was selected as Mike Tyson sparring partner and many people don't know this but as expected Tyson knocked him out in devastating fashion and since that day he has struggled around new people as it affected his confidence so badly not even qualifying as a civil engineer help him with his shattered confidence

I have told him to never be scared homie many times but getting knock senseless by iron Mike really messed him up he was never the same so much so that if you ask him what is your favourite book he will say the (the internet) is my favourite book poor guy Mike really did knock him senseless so much so that he will claim me and him don't know each other
