Hi Bud, normally a counter is same size lol.
I just hold the bad trade from losing any more (HELD) like today, and wait for next trigger.
When next trigger occurs i might use bigger lot size, it depends on trigger and stats.
Over time same size lot will get the bad trade good.
But it is good to hurry it on.
Also, i may even trade another pair to recoup..

Hey, Slowbrain (and others, of course) - just saw this while nosing around (as you do). Check out the DAX for H1-Alien-Airspace-Flight-Activity-Potential.

I know it's back to H1 again but there will be days when you are able to trade this low, right? Also maybe if nothing available at that particular moment on Daily or H4...

Took a really nice trade on EJ, I set up before I hit the sack. It got me to goal.... was an interesting Friday. If GU was traded south, it was bunched up on the pivot (well the pivot on my screens) and then broke hard south. It followed Billy's 04-00 as well

Hi all. Nothing in the Dead Zone traded live by me today. Picked up a couple of bits 'n bobs elsewhere early before heading out for the rest of the day before the US Open.

Dead Zone is 12:00 Noon - !3:00 uk

Witching Hour is 00:00 Midnight - 01:00 uk (for now...subject to getting its ass shifted an hour earlier sometime soon )

you are right , i often trade dax in the morning and dow in the afternoon (London time) but normally looking at lower time frame.
i enjoy to scalp dax in the afternoon by looking at dow , dow lead the dax after New York open .
being in HK i trade much more starting NY open .

I'm surprised that that you play the WH with 00:00 01:00 candle break , I was expecting the 23:00 00:00 candle , there are reasons behind your choice ?

Ha ha - yes, the reason being I'm a stubborn git!

Original looks at the concept showed that midnight to one was a good one and it also tied into a straight split with The Dead Zone through the day. However, it quickly became clear that 23:00 to Midnight was much better - it gives much more of a violent break away from the candle's closing level and means that you don't need to wait very long to bag your pips, whereas the midnight candle tends to take its time more.

So, basically the only reason why I don't use it is that I have been - as I said - stubborn and wouldn't get round to making the change. Anyway, the plan is to get it changed over the next couple of days.

Don't shift it! Just trade both hours XD - I have noticed that the original hour before will often times get a reversal for a quick 3-8 pips. I just cashed in
