This leverage has worked because it made us hesitate to ban him on several occasions) am all about treating people equally so this go's against my morals how goes a red flag excuse poor behaviour on my first post on here someone was rude to me and they did it more then one time it's not like they followed me around saying am scared sorry again Exodus but they had targeted me to take the piss out of me with their mate's so after a little white I bite back was called a toll a asshole and kick from a thread when I complained to Twee I was banned form commenting for a mouth I come here to learn I have invested me time I put money into this wed sites pockets by being active on here and am a second class user because I don't have a red flag it's ridiculous adults would setup a system like this. but from a guy that like's to mock mental health problems what a good joke not just a nice person but a funny guy to (combined with my mental health experience would be far more important for the job. I kept wondering why they would want someone with mental health experience to manage a website, but a few days after starting the job I understood. ) I now wonder if I to will get kicked for saying this also on the first page of the swamp am still being called a asshole and toll but their is no clear bias and lack of morals to see folks

I tried that "equality" angle, but it didn't work for me either. But based on jen101's observation ( it was like two carrier bags for an arse.), I not longer have the stomach to try it again

am just whining but if you set up a system like this how can you complain when people try and play it CTGUY sounds like the type of guy that deserve to get kicked from here as he is doing exactly what am complained about stopping newbies from learning but to then kicked he off for playing their game ("You are one of the nicest, most helpful, and most forex knowledgeable traders here.." comment on lots of other members profile page. We believe he has been strategically doing this to gain leverage against the FF Team so we wouldnt be able to ban him again) if you make a class system base on flags instead of just enforcing the rules people will try to play the system it's common sense.

The carrier bags made my stomach turn also. But it is just as bad in the mens, except it is often guys with big stomachs.

I don't parade my stuff. I'm very discreet. There are things called towels. Something these fuglies seem to miss. I think they get a kick from flaunting it in your face.... like you have a problem with it? Like they are also raging lefties and tree huggers. At the gym I use there is also an outdoor pool, yep and that keeps going all through winter, heated to a nice 28 degrees and it's covered in a fog of steam. These are the same eco warriors who use it.

I'm going to be a bit of a party pooper now and throw in a few numbers that will make you look at mince pies in a different way.

The average Brit consumes an additional 19,000 calories over the festive period, with 7000 on Christmas day alone. 1 kg of body fat stores 7700 calories, therefore assuming all those excess calories are stored, 19,000 calories would mean an additional 2.5 kg of fat.

Now say you wish to exercise it all off by going for a run or two. If you weigh 80 kg, you will burn 83 calories per km. Unfortunately, burning fat is not very efficient and the body prefers to use up glycogen first, which is stored in the liver and muscles. Glycogen is the storage form of glucose and carbohydrates. At medium intensity exercise, the rate of fat burn is about 50%, meaning that you will only get 41.5 fat calories burnt per km.

That will take you 458 km of running to burn your 2.5 kg of fat.

If I weighed 80kg I would be very happy

The best way to lose weight is to sleep. When you sleep you burn 25cal/hr, IIRC, additionally whilst asleep you are not eating. This sounds like a winner to me

Yes and no. If you lie in bed all day, you will lose muscle mass and your BMR (basal metabolic rate) will go down. Muscle is very energy hungry, even at rest, but fat burns nothing.

You will burn a higher percentage of fat at low intensity exercise, but that is a high percentage of very little. At medium intensity (about 70% max heart rate) the rate of fat burning is around 50%, but the actual fat calories burnt are far more than if you went for a walk or a slow jog. At high intensity workout you will burn almost no fat and all your calories will be from glycogen.... but you will be putting on the most muscle, hence burning more energy at idling spend. So it's not totally black and white.

By the way, you should be burning far more than 25 calories per hour sleeping. My BMR is 1788 (calories per 24 hours) measured a few days ago. You should have much more muscle mass than me. Did you know that each kg of fat also has 25 km of capillaries to service it?! See, so having a lot of fat is a big strain on the heart.

I'm very much for clean energy however it seems obvious that there has been gross exaggeration about the impact of climate change via (edit - man made CO2) from some quarters.

Facts:
There is climate change. The ice age continues to recede. Nothing to do with man.
Man has nothing to do with climate change. We couldn't effect climate change even if we wanted to.
Man-made climate change has not been scientifically proven using the scientific process.
Man-made climate change is based solely on computer models.
Efforts to thwart BS man made climate change (impossible) are damaging to world economies.
Oil, natural gas and coal are a good thing. They fuel the engine of the world's economies. Try flying a massive jet air liner with solar power. Good luck.

The UK is 0.5% of the world population. We are brainwashed to recycle, recycle, recycle. Meanwhile China builds 4 new power stations a week (Greenpeace 2015). So rinsing out your yogurt carton and believing you are saving the planet is like pissing in the ocean trying to raise sea levels. And all the recycling ends up in landfill anyway. What gets me are all these ugly windmills because the EU has stipulated that 20% of energy should be from renewable sources. They are all over France. France definitely doesn't need them; they are awash with nuclear power. Nuclear fusion is the future, when they can get that working. Also more advanced batteries. The electric motor is far superior than a petrol or diesel engine, but the problem has always been the battery life. They will get there soon.

Jen, we have to recycle because we are running out of holes into which we can cram the waste. My favourite gilet is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Nuclear fusion is like time travel, IMHO. The only place that it works is in the Sun because that is the magnitude of the installation required to make it continuous in operation. I shall commission a special hat made from pasta so that I can eat sometime if the need arises.
