how can i get my mt4 platform to be reliable??? i trade for REAL, but use mt4 to make trading decisions.

do i need to open an account with a broker that uses mt4 as well??

if so, please someone, anyone, please give me suggestions on a reliable honest broker compatible with mt4. this is the roughly the 5th time in the past 6 mo that mt4 has (froze up/locked me out/fed me with incorrect data)
Well, If you just want a demo account that does not go down in MT4, I use COES Direct. It has not gone down once in all the time I have had it since they started. I do not use them for my broker, so I cannot offer advise in that regard.

I got mt4 from strategybuilderfx. i was told it never expired.

do you have a link to coes direct? i did a couple googles but could not find anything.

btw that kid totally cracks me up!

My SBFX demo lockied up earlier today also. SBFX forum users rpt it is down for them also, I'll be chking for a new server also - coesfx demo server may be more stable.

Downloaded and setit up directly from coesfx. Here's the link:

In trading, there is no bullshit. You either make money or you don't.
Yes, you can copy your templates, profiles and indicators and EAs back and forth no problem. I also have a demo at SBFX as well and move back and forth with files with out difficulty.

IBFX has been good but it keeps expiring(I just open another account each time takes 2 seconds, however I do lose all my trading data), so I just installed SBFX, doesn't sound good after reading this.

Thanks for the tip on COESFX, I will check it out and copy all my files again, hopefully the last time.

Or, you can keep your existing install and just add the spotfx (coesfx) server files. That way, you don't have to move files from one installation to another.
