I back-tested this strategy manually over 6 pairs using my own money management and more specific rules and was able to get almost 4000 pips over the past 3 months. It has potential. It definitely requires the trader to be cool and patient.

Willing to share? Fair enough, MM is personal, however rules are open for discussion, no?

In the 4H look for inside bars. Be reasonable and only choose the ones with decent size (this is important because of SL)

I placed my trades exactly 5 pips above and 5 pips below the HL.

If the trade doesn't trigger within 25 candles on 15M cancel the orders.

SL goes on the H or L from entry point which is 5 pips above HL.

TP is 1:1

Now, I use an EA that I paid mathtrader7 to develop for me. Its essentially a trail stop that scales position.

Look at the image below to help understand.

Yellow box is the inside bar drawn on 4H.
Blue box is the 5 pip gap. As you can see it opened orders in both directions.
---We lost 18 pips short
---We gained 36 pips long

Assuming you oped your positions with 0.5 lot.
The first time it closes for 18 pips it will close half the position, so you have 0.25 running.
the second time it closes for 36 pips it will close another half, so you have 0.12 running.
the third time it closes it hit SL which was trailed to 18 pips.

That is not an indicator. Its trading view charting platform where I do my analysis.

Incidentally three pairs have formed new inside bars on D1 charts for a Sunday night entry: AUDUSD, EURJPY and GBPUSD.
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

Took me about 15 minutes to place all the orders. A script would be pretty handy. I'm on GBPUSD inside bar.

the gbpusd is in the green with three trades on as per the system, but I want to go to sleep. Alas I must watch it till it hits TP to close the other trades, any way I can automate?
