Can anyone share my setting file of Arbitrage i havn`t found any good settings....
If anyone used it before any broker can you share me set file..

It's really very tough to find broker that allows Arbitrage and the worst part is even if we don't use it many brokers claim that we used that, so very tough to find out broker who openly allows it.

Guys if you want to do arbitrage (any kind) don't tell your broker. You will only hurt yourself. I have tested over 60 brokers (so called ECN, STP, MM ...you name it) and who will accept arbitrage will accept it any way. After all it all resumes to the profit you make...because profit is hurting them (directly if they are MM or indirectly if they are ECN - thier LPs usually requests them to filter their clients).
And by the way: how does a broker know if you are doing arbitrage and why would they care (if their business model is fair and transparent)? After all, the FX/CFD market is (most of it) an OTC market so different prices on the same instrument are logic. So again, why would a broker care if I am doing arbitrage? If the broker quotes a price and I am taking it and paying commission why would they care?

I think it is bad idea to ask broker if they support arbitrage. They will flag your account and your name. Broker not on your side. And it is not true that it is difficult to find the broker. If you follow some rules - no problem.
1. you need vps in the same data center with broker. usually all brokers have servers in London (LD4, LD5 ) or / and NY (NY5). If you decided to try first on your current vps or home computer or free vps - it is bad idea. It will never work and you will say: it is difficult to find broker :-). If you decided to use this trading method- you should understand you need to spent some money for good vps.
2. Software. I prefer bjf latency arbitrage and now I test bjf lock arbitrage. It is several reasons: they provide really fast feed from several LPs, easy adjustable, good idea inside (trailing stop, breakeven etc.). Lock arbitrage allows to keep orders open for long time and use closure instead of opening. It helps to resolve a problem with brokers who wants you to keep orders online longer then 2-3min, and reduce execution time/slippage. But I am 100% sure if you ask broker can I use Lock arbitrage - they will say no, or yes and flag your name.
3. settings. I think it is not so difficult part as well. If you rent good vps and use right software, different settings will work for you. You need to keep sl very short - little bit bigger then spread, diff to open should be 2-3 for some symbols higher.

triangular arbitrage - I think it is bad idea. Only on 3 fix api brokers it can work, but if you use 3 brokers it is always more problem then 2 brokers or 1 broker :-) I recommend latency or lock latency arbitrage.

Hi guys Im testing BJF arbitrage for while. On NY servers located servers, with VPS there but it doesnt work for me att all.

Ping is zero. I tried a lot of changes in Diff to open etc. But without any good results. Is anyone really having succes with it?

I start to think that its crazy to try f*ck up with brokers companies which has advanced technologies. Please let me know if it works for you.

It won't work! Do you think anybody would sell great software for peanuts if it can create low risk money and drain liquidity for software creator? It can't work between 2 ECN with fast feed brokers. In theory it can work between fast ECN feed as master and slow feed MM as slave, but MM will do as many tricks as it can to make arbitrage trading impossible. Many years ago it was possible to earn some money with arbitrage trading before broker asks you to leave or requotes you as hell or delays execution by several seconds.

Thanks, this is exactly what I think. Me and my 2 friends spended over 4 months with trying to set it up. We went thru 100 brokers.
Without succes. I would like to believe I did something wrong and it works somehow. But I dont think so.
Adapt useful, reject useless, add what is specifically your own.

Unfortunately, only mistake you made is that you wasted your money on useless software and time for testing it. You should ask software creator what broker you should use as master and slave and wait for reaction.

Good advice, never buy any EA that has to earn money for you, even if it was good in the past it doesn't work now or it will end working near in the future. This is how this business works.

Second advice, if you think about learning how to trade forex at any forex guru always ask for real account statement at reputable and regulated broker (statements at scam brokers are forged). Ask for investor's password for one day and check account. I can guarantee you that there's no forex guru with real account statement that can teach you how to trade.

I completely agree with you. I have my two algos. Which are ofcourse not holly grail but doing pretty well at the moment.

I wanted to ad arbitrage to portfolio as another system. I asked exactly what you said. And creator everytime recomended different broker and different settings but didnt work.

Anyway it was my decision to invest in it and it didnt work. I take responsibility for wasted money and time. Im not complaining. Its part of the game.

Typical scam artist behavior Try this, try that, hmmm, strange that it's not working anymore It's good that you take responsibility for your actions, because it's "must have" characteristic while forex trading, in life either

First he show a webpage in Fxblue, there are no information about broker and Live/Demo account.
then he show an account trading history in FSFX to me by his MT4 on his PC. I had not hear anything about this named broker.
I suggest that he could trade my account a week for testing, He say not.

I would never trust anybody to manage my money with arbitrage trading as primary trading strategy as aside of risk of ruining his account with ill-developed and tested strategy there are also broker risks what can be even greater. I doubt there are generous brokers which would allow you to make a money-generating machine from them with a strategy balancing near prohibited ones.

If we are talking strictly about true STP brokers, then they really don’t have anything against any type of strategy you can come up with. Because for them profitable client would mean, longer account lifespan, more deposited funds, more generated commissions. So, I would imagine they will be ok with arbitrage trading. As far as their liquidity providers goes… well, that’s a whole lot different story, mate

You should report that broker to the regulator. Latency arbitrage is legal!!! They can't shut down your account legally. Is your broker regulated?
The most philosophically troubling HFT strategy is very similar to the longstanding problem of front-running and is referred to as latency arbitrage. While the traditional practice of front-running sees the broker trade ahead of his or her client and is illegal, latency arbitrage sees principal traders take advantage of faster connections to exchanges, relative to other market participants, and is not illegal. However, the practice is generally considered to be against the spirit of fair markets and typically manifests itself as ghost liquidity and price slippage, which are major concerns for institutional investors.

Institutional traders use Arbitrages and tighter spreads or even positive spreads, fix APIs. If everything that is profitable is prohibited Forex market is very unfair. It is like you attend to race and you can use the only bike, but your competitors can use motorcycles or Ferrari. Will you attend this race?

All institutional traders use Arbitrages and program 90% of all trades. The broker does not have right to determine your style of trading. This is illegal, not arbitrage trading. Brokers love if you only lose your money with lagging and expensive indicators.

Hi Peepbb,

I have just gone through your entire post and I personally find it very interesting and logical indeed.

Let me introduce my self ... I'm Mark Gus from United Kingdom and I have been trading forex for 5 years, but my big problem is that I keep changing EAs all the time because after a while of constant profit, my Brokers manipulate their MT4 platforms to attack my EAs and then the EAs starts to loss.

It's like a game of cat and mouse between me and my brokers which I always win against them. This is the very reason why most traders lose money which they are so ashamed to admit. Overall I have made thousands of Pounds over the years of playing this constant change of EAs. In short ... I'm now tired of playing this game of cat and mouse with my brokers.

So now I'm back to watching my chats again and I only trade Renko offline chats now in manual, which I hate so much ... although I still make profit of about 50-65% monthly with good money management, but I need to start a kind of automation trading as I have other projects that I really need to get on with.

So can you kindly tell me more about how to do automated Arbitrage trading on MT4. I look forward to you reply.

I am from the UK as well.
I can do manually few hundred % a month. With automation systems still much more.
I facing the same problems as you.
I have had tested 40 000+ EAs and only a few of them are profitable and safe.
I modified a lot of EAs myself.
I can actually offer you my automated system.
If you send me email to { email address deleted by staff } but this was not my target offering here something because simply I do not need to do so.
