I was reading the USELESS THREAD as recommended by another FF member (thanks btw)

They know way too much (even if they are full of BS I wouldnt know!)
Anyhow I wonder, how on freaking earth do you get Fundamental knowledge?

Good traders seem to use fundamentals. They tell you to get your facts or expectations right and then start analysis with technicals when to get in, where you expect to leave, set SL and such.

This Sisse guy gives an example of a guy overhearing a conversation about a new cell phone from company XYZ lunching an improvement which can revolutionize the market and make a share go up yada yada yada... Point is this guy expects XYZ to go up due to a rumour from a CEO or CIO or some top guy...from then on he trades his expectations.... all good..wonderful

NOW? how can a working joe like me get this sort of info??? I dont get invited to fancy cocktail parties and listen to top chief exec..do you?

So how can we get the fundamentals fck right? Internet? is full of BS. Newspapers? is old news and also BS....

If you are trading AUD by reading though this site http://www.rba.gov.au

Just to point out news trading and fundamental trading is a different ball game.

Okey maybe "news" was not the best term. How about economic commentary?

the closest you will get to hot news that drives the market before most even know about it is http://ransquawk.com/ . Lot of pro's use this but it is a paid service. News trading..

I have had a look at a few of them. Was thinking about getting the WBP online terminal but the news releases were slower than FF at a cost of $450 US per year. It has also now closed up. In the end I think they all are not worth it and found its better to put up with the FF and MYFX book news calendars. and its better advice dont trade the news unless you have a good news trading strategy.

Hi there,
is not that easy really. All reports contradict each other. I wanted to create a blog with same guys saying XYZ goes up and say exactly the opposite a month later...turds!
I am starting to think you need a degree in economics or sth to get a chance at this... will keep reading and will check those websites.

Anybody could say "Aussie is going down" but im giving detailed step by step on how it is going to go down.

I am showing the correction(pullback) before it goes down.

Yes, i dont know much about wave analysis and i am glad i dont. I am here mainly to observe the traders' mood and overall view (hence my participation is very few), as one of the guys mentioned recently that when everyone seems in a buying mode and they put very high figures of possible gain... then it is time to sell, and vice-versa, and that is my strategy, and guess what...it WORKS!

While i am being humble, but for you i will make an exception as i have seen some "cocky" posts recently coming from you. I have made around a mil in the past 4 years by following many different methods and listening to many people, but most importantly i listened to my gut. So if i dont know anything about wave analysis, i am totally fine with that, and to tell you the truth, i dont think you even know anything about that either and probably you are doing some copy + paste of charts from other sources...just saying...

Selling when everyone is in buying mode .. lol great strategy... Im sure youve made millions. My charts have my Initials on them as I need to login to their website to gain access. What you're saying makes no sense and I could care less about how cocky you think my post are. Show your work that makes millions..

Hi All,

THE AUD has appreciated allot this week due the metals like Copper and Iron and Coal creeping up in price.

Not sure how sustainble this is though..

Look at post 99,766 ...

In the first chart, he shows his previous prediction (blue line up, down, up to 5, then big plunge down)

In the second chart, he shows how his prediction came true (and it is about half-way down the big plunge line)

In the third chart, he puts a yellow line to show a consolidation up before continuing down

His comment (you quote above) about going up is that consolidation.

So he is still expecting it to go down and so far there has been no discrepancy.

For my part, I have never seen anyone do predictions like that (Skyhook comes close but he stopped after a mistake)
